Can anyone xplain why Omar Sheika, keeps getting title shots?

Im guessing because the division is kind of weak and sheika is somewhat exciting to watch Yep. As for the Golata thing...well he must still provide some sort of bizzar entertainment.

well it's not really a case of him getting a shot, but more of "pussy" champs want to fight lower ranked has been fighters........this is the case here.

he's fought for almost every version of the super middle title and has yet to win one, but he keeps getting shots, he got beat by scott pemberton, not too long before he got another shot at the IBF title held by jeff lacy, now he gets a crack @ beyer for the wbc belt, does anyone know why and how, is he the golota of the super middle division? It doesnt really bother me, it only bothers me when a fighter get an easy title shot, Sheika makes for an interesting fight and is only gettig the shots because he's not expected to win. The same reason Reid got a shot at Lacy.

He is always in entertaining fights. He isnt good enough to beat the best but he makes people look better.

What a joke.Sheika loses to pemberton twice,loses his last fight to Lacy and walks straight into a wbc title shot. While Pemberton has to fight Green in a title eliminator for the right to fight for the wbc belt. Somebody must have friend in high places.

i to think he held his own against jeff lacy, more so than robin reid, but does that warrant another title shot?
