Ring deaths?

Not really boxing, but I remember one of the WWF wrestlers dying as a result of a stunt?? There's been a few. The one I remember happened about 7-8 years ago when Owen Hart's safety harness failed and he fell something like 100 feet. I remember, the tape wasn't shown, but my brother-in-law had ordered the pay per view, and, since wrestling is fake and they cut the camera's off when they are setting up stuff, you didn't see him fall, but you saw his body in the ring afterward

I saw the Peret/Griffith fight. Even though he technically died 10 days later, you could tell nothing but the shell was left as he slumped into the corner. I remember when Cooney fought Norton, I thought norton was for sure brain dead in the corner after 4 straight hooks landed.

Beethavean Scottland was killed in the ring by George Khalid Jones in June of 2001... he was put into a coma in the ring and died about a week later... this was also televised on ESPN... Yeah I saw that fight too. I also saw the fight in which Fernando Montiel Koed Perdo Alcazar. Alcazar was declared healthy by ringside doctors. He seemed fine the next day and halfway through the 2nd day after the fight then he collapsed in the shower and was taken to the hospital where he died. So I have seen two.

yeah i saw the Griffith/Paret when he got killed, it was brutal. trapped in the corner his head under the top rope, while Griffith pounded away. What the hell was the ref doing. Also i know no one died in this one but Norton/Ali was sad to see too. Did you mean Holmes/Ali?
