Barrera v Pacman

Here we are 2 years since the start of this thread and finally Barrera and Pac are having their re-match. Unfortunately I dont think barrera has enough left to win this fight. What is it with Pac and old mexicans?? Its getting like a fucking merry go round

I have a lot of respect for MAB but this excuse is so fucking lame he just put himself in chicken JMM's level. For the first time in the history of boxingscene... I agreed about something with you about Barrera.

I mean a rematch surely MAB would win a second bout as the first time round I dont think he took pacman seriously enough. are you serous? pac would whoop barrera's ass far worse than what he did the first time

Im a fan of both guys but it is clear to me that MAB does not want this fight. It is not like MAB and PAc fought yesterday, it had been a while and they both have had a few fights under their belt since then, in MAB's case he is entering into his second consecutive meaqningless bout. Pac would fight Barerra in a heartbeat and it is obvious that MAB is not sold on a remtach. I love MAB and Morales but Im a bit tired of it, meaning I would rather see Marquez/PAc in the mix with eaither guy than a fourth fight. Barerra wants no part of Manny otherwise it would have been done already. Barerra is interested in Morales and no one else and for that Im a bit down on MAB. trust me there is no point in barrera fighting morales again, they have settled their feud and they should move on now, i do not want to see a fourth fight between them. its becoming like a tv series. barrera has been sayin in interviews that he needs to fight manny because he is like a thorn in his side, so im hopin after the peden fight, they actually ask barrera who he will fight next and i hope he says pacquaio,i dont wanna hear the name morales comin out of his mouth. if barrera does fight pacquiao it should be in the middle or at the end of 2006 because maany will most probably fight morales again early next year, so expect after peden, barrera to have another fight and then he should hopefully fight pacquiao afterwards.

ya, I wouldn't mind seein a rematch, but I think Pacman is too fast fo Barrera. Handspeed discouraged him along wit Pac's power. Barrera could always take Morales punches well that's why he don't get discouraged when he fights Morales. He keeps comin. Unlike Morales, Barrera can't really handle Pac's punches well.When Barrera tried to trade wit Pac, Pac's punches would always be ta last landin on ta face of Barrera, lol!

a rematch will never happen, as pacquiao totally dominated and annihilated mab in every sector...........so there is no way mab will do this fight..........besides he doesn't need to, he is fighting top champions like peden, fana, etc to further resonate his legend status...

this fight NEEDS to happen, barrera no matter what happens will go down as a legend and a hall of fame fighter, but just like he did with junior jones, he needs to get back in the ring with pacquiao and soon, to erase doubts and to prove what he says was a bad night due to all the distractions he said he had. he aint getting any younger so i hope he does fight pacquiao sometime next year. barrera has a 6 fight deal with golden boy promotions then he said he will retire so he has to fight pacquiao within 6 fights. and if he does i think he has a GREAT chance of winning, if he cant win then thers no shame in that.

I wouldnt call pacman a good boxer but he has lightning speed and brilliant reflexes. he misses with to manny (lol excuse the other pun )punches which uses alot of energy I think Marquez was robbed as even if manny won the 1st round 10-6 and the 2n 10-9 i give all the rest to JMM for a grand total of 110-115 to JMM

True, but it's easy to see his skill level has dwindled from inactivity in the gym, as stated by himself in the prefight buildup to his fight with Marquez. I think he can beat anybody at that weight if he trains right and has a desire, but when those dollars start rolling in, it's hard to stay focused on what got you there.

hehe, I know, just kidding. Personally, I love Pac, but success has made him lose his concentration on fighting, and I highly doubt he expects to do anything more than make a few more pay days off of the name he got by tearing apart MAB the first time.
