Yeah it did but if you hear it enough... Rahman in shape has seemed pretty good but not in the Barret fight. I remember him being in shape for Ruiz and fighting like shit. I guess I should have never had a doubt but in boxing, anything can and does happen.
I was kind of believing the Rahman hype just a little bit until that first right hand that Barret landed that almost dropped Rahmman. Now I know Vitali will destroy him!
Fighting to a narrow decision win agaisnt Al Cole a year ago or so, and prior to that being thoroughly outpointed to John Ruiz didn't give you a clue?

rahman doesnt even have a punchers chance, he'd better hope lennox lewis shows him how to cut vitali or ask byrd how to hurt his arm.
btw i wonder who lennox lewis is gonna root for in this fight so far he is 0-3 in big V fight predictions
Vitali ate the very best Lewis and Sanders had to offer. He was clearly hurt when Sanders hurt him but held up well and went on fighting. I doubt that Rahman hits harder then Sanders.
Yeah, I have to say I'm with you on that. His mind seems to be like a steel trap.
Old Gringo, thats what I think. I see this man and his skills and I think he would knock any opponent out in two rounds. But when it comes to fight night his bitch ass it taking Corrie Sanders to like the 10th round and Danny Williams to the 8th. Vitali does not fight to his potential and we saw what happened to Lewis when he slacked off.
In saying that, I'm hoping for an upset.
Just because Vitali fights smart, it doesn't mean that he can't do it quick. By the way, he got that careful right when he became the champ.
One question that still needs to be answered is
If/When Vitali get's knocked down, how will he react?
Will he be like Wladamir against Sanders, standing right back up, but with no steam, flusterred, and scared?
or will he be able to shake it off, regroup and get his mind back in control of the fight, with more drive and resolve with momentum?
because you know it kinda seemed like Wlad was the man till he got his rockem sockem Rocked by Sanders, I just hope that IF Vitali gets knocked down, his marbles don't go loose and walah! Instant Glass Joe.. LOL ;)

Rahman couldn't knock Barett down with pretty clean shots. But then again, if that wasn't a staged fight, then I don't know what is.

Vitali will brutally beat up and stop Rahman. Vitali is too smart and too hesitant to get into a knockdown, drag out right hand fest with Hasim. I see 3 knockdowns and the fight being called in the 8th round.
If Rahman wins this fight we are in store for one of the most boring heavyweight tournaments of all time. I predict Ruiz will come out as heavyweight champ, haha! :D
this was said like a weekago but w/e.... vitali is going to one two him all night. but i will give rahman a punchers chance, cuz his overrhand right can send any fighter into nex week.
