everyone knows curtis stevens, jaidon codrington, andre dirrell, and andre ward are the 4 best prospects in boxing. within 2-3 years who do you all think will be the best of these 4?
i say codrington with his reach, skills, speed, and accuracy, and the power of course i say he would beat any of these guys.
Chad Dawson will be betta than all of em.
you know what he is damn good and i forgot to mention him. ive still only seen him once and that was the fight against efrain garcia. i already like him better than jermain taylor just off that one fight. he reminds me alot of judah with the combos he throws. but hes at middleweight so he can definitely take that over when hopkins and wright leave. i know ward is a middleweight now but i think he will move up pretty quickly.
I've seen very little of Codrington but that dude is a freak for a light heavy and looks to have great power/skills/chin. I've been told by a few people now that he's gonna be the real deal.
But they are at least out there making names for themselves, moreso than even Andre Ward, but then again they ARE heavyweights, so they get more press, especially when they provide hope for the worst heavyweight division of all time.
Thats a good point, i like Peter because he's a poor fighter but at least he knows his strength = punching power.
I havent really watched Ward enough to pass decent comment, he seems OK but a lot of people hype technical ability too much, to be successful(IMO) you need mental ability and i dont know if he has it yet.
I think both Brock & Peter have proven more than Ward, i can understand why you would say that.
Yeah I really dont agree with you "zab". I really think that Vicente Escobedo will be a great champion one day, also Jorge Paez JR, is a great prospect also. I like Andre Ward I just dont think he could write his name in the history of boxing.

Easily Andre Ward, but I also disagree. The heavyweight division has 2 better prospects alone in Calvin Brock and Sam Peter
I dont think so, i hate to disagree with you so much but Peter is so raw and for all his technical ability Brock doesnt look mean enough to be a successful heavy.
