Who do you all think would have won if these two fought in their primes? Felix Trinidad or Thomas the Hit man Hearns????
Its a hard one to call as hearns had that glass jaw. and Trinidad had a not so great defense and would have been subject to that missle like right hand of Tommy.
It is obvious thought that this fight would have ended in a KO
What? He lost to two PR's already, a thrid is hard to fathom? Whats the problem J... :D
Trinidad would beat Duran down, if he had faced Tito early in his career who knows if he'd of made it to middlweight.
look mate ive already had this discussion with you and you actually apologised and amitted you dont know jack shit.

Nah man it wasn't about the fantasy fight analysis it was about the "no chance thing" because my point of view is that they're nothing 100% secure in the sport of boxing. People can give 1000 predictions for a fight next Saturday but it may happen something out of those expectations ,the fight bets can be 100-1 that doesn‘t mean that the underdog have no chance.
Being from the late 90’s generation of boxing it really get me mad when somebody says the boxers from the 90’s have no chance against the boxers from the 80’s.I’ve only seen 4 Hearn’s fights(Cuevas ,Duran, Hagler and Leonard) his boxing skills were amazing. His an all time great without a doubt but saying that Tito or any other top 90’s fighter have no chance doesn’t convince me at all. You see this is boxing and a punch in the chin can change a whole fight , the only way tito has no chance is if he had his hands tied behind his back and vise-versa. Sorry for defending my generation this is the way I see it.
Come on man, you can't base a fantasy fight on a lucky punch...

#1. He had lots to prove, he needed to prove that he could outbox a boxer which he couldn't do..
#2. No, he wouldn't love to trade with Hearns..
LoL! idk wat it was but suttin about dat post was hilarious to me
Hearns stops trinidad in the first...im a fellow borikua and i like tito but he has no chance in hell to beat thomas hearns at 147 or 154. hearns hit krazy hard. did anyone see wat he did to duran...had that foo' fall straight on his face. tito would get KO'd in the first 4 rounds
When a Puerto Rican posts, it makes IWATCHBOXING look worse than ever !! hahahah
Good stuff

Duran was just multifunctional, he could move up weights well, but he wasnt that great in the ring, Trinidad would fuck Duran up
you are awesome
is there an opposite of knowledge? ignorance is no knowledge, but there is no word for your ---------- of boxing
Trinidad never changed his style because he lost a fight at the end of his rope, at the time of his loss he had nothing left to prove, Hearns lost than trained to yadada box effectively, but before that he was a pure hitter, and Trinidad would of loved to trade with that S.O.B. :D

Look Hearns lover ( :D )..sorry o rake the Honeymoon up, but
"HIT MAN" HEARNS NARROWLY BEATS A LEGEND FOR THE SUPER WELTERWEIGHT TITLE
http://www.hboppv.com/web_exclusives/boxing_history/benitez_hearns.shtml
was a classic battle between the puncher and the master boxer. Hearns was a pure hitter with notorious KO power; Benitez an almost untouchable defensive wizard. Hearns had a significant reach advantage, Benitez a damaging counter-punching style. Both fighters entered the ring with complete respect for one another, even though their pre-fight stare down turned into a shoving match.
You haven't even seen this fight have you? I remember talking to you about this fight awhile ago and you were strictly debating off of articles that you've read...maybe I'm wrong but I think that's what the case was.
Hearns won this fight at least 9-6. The only reason it was an MD is because Filippo is a dumbass who decided to score Benitez' defense as equal as Hearns' clean punching.
"Once the fight began, boxing fans used to seeing Hearns throw his patented long-range bombs, were shocked to see The Hit Man stick to flawless tactical maneuvers. His sharp left jab kept Benitez from getting inside, even with lunging attempts. Hearns would press in to unleash rapid-fire combinations, and then dance out of Benitez’ counter-punching range. Hearns asserted his power in the fifth round, connecting with a big right to score a knockdown against the great Puerto Rican legend. He staggered Benitez again late in Round Six."
The rest of that little article was funny because they describe it basically as Hearns jabbing Benitez to death, moving in and out with his great range, firing off combinations, and scoring with big power shots behind his jab...or otherwise known as OUTBOXING Benitez. This is exactly what I saw...Hearns outboxing one of the better pure boxers ever, which is why it's known that Hearns was almost IMPOSSIBLE to outbox while he was strictly boxing.

English please?
However, like it's been said before, I give Trinidad a chance if he can catch Hearns first, but that would happen should they trade in the middle of the ring, which I just doubt to happen.
LOL!
Remember Pipino Cuevas? I heard he actually punches harder than Trinidad..
Hearns DESTROYED him...
If Pipino Cuevas was in the same era as Trinidad, he could've been just as good or even better maybe..
However, like it's been said before, I give Trinidad a chance if he can catch Hearns first, but that would happen should they trade in the middle of the ring, which I just doubt to happen.
Hagler knocked out Hearns in 3 because Hagler took Hearns best punch, something Trinidad could NEVER do..
Exactly!
Hagler had to take lot's and lot's of punishment against Hearns to break him down and TKO him in the 3rd. I think Hagler, in a sense, mentally beat Hearns as well as KTFO him. When you're such a big puncher and a guy can eat your shots for breakfast and have enough in him to weather your shots and land some good punches of his own, it kind of destroys your will.
Would Hearns run, jab, run a naturaly fit Trinidad? Tito fought DLH at 154, and managed to get a close win, than when he moved up he was pretty much slow and enffectie against one of the greatest middleweights ever, at 147 would Hearns beable to outrun Tito?
He didn't "RUN", he boxed on his toes and moved around his opponent with his lightning quick jab and long legs.
The Trinidad/DLH fight was at 147.
Hearns at 154 looked unbeatable. Clear decisions over Benitez and Minchillo and destructions of Duran and McCracken. He could have done whatever he wanted with Felix.
You have no idea what you are talking about, Hearns wouldnt box Trinidad a shit since he only begon to box in his fight with Benitez, before that he was all game to fight one on one like Trinidad wants, and if Hagler KO'd him in three rounds, Trinidad would win. Hearns is not a runner.
What parts of his fights with Ray Leonard, Jeff McCracken and Randy Shields gave you that idea? Hearns was a boxer first and puncher/fighter second. He'd dance around you on his toes and would flick that long, hard jab out in your face until he struck with that great left hook or legendary right cross. Hearns NEVER stood there and slugged it out for long periods of time until that Hagler fight when he knew he couldn't box with Marvin for 12.
You have your info all fucked up.
Naturaly, since you've been watching boxing for a single year only, and reading too many The biased Ring magazines.
All my points are valid and it's all facts...
It's funny when a biased person calls something else biased..
