MY TARVER-JONES III THREE-CENTS!
Since ESPN announced the signing of the Antonio Tarver-Roy Jones rubbermatch (airing exclusively on HBO Pay-Per-View), the ruminations of rubbernecking fans has reached a crescendo of equal parts anticipation and morbid curiosity. Having witnessed Jones lying prone at the feet of both Tarver and Glenn Johnson (for some five minutes), it would seem foolish to ever step in the ring again; yet even with that danger the intrigue of whether Roy has one more moment of greatness, one more moment of athletic magic is unavoidable. With that in mind, I ask with all my heart of all real fight fans who are forced more and more to choose which fights to purchase...skip this one!

this fight has nothing to do with rubber.......only paper, and that being cash money.......
of course jones shouldn't fight and tarver knows this too....they are trying to make hay while the sun is still shining...and it is just as much for tarver as it is for jones.....it is a marriage of convenience.
I do admitedly want to watch it,just to see what happens to Jones, but there is absolutely NO reason this fight should be PPV, especially when one of the fighters is coming off of 2 consecutive KO's, wtf kind of shit is that?
two words....name power
Steel: That's what I'm getting at (and I should have noted Barerra-Peden). 3 Major PPV's in four weeks...$150...which matchup most EARNED the dollars the avaerage fan worked for?
That's nice, but Castillo - Coralles II is not going to be as good as the first. Coralles will NOT war with Castillo again. If I have cable or satellite by then, my money will go to my favorite fighter, Roy Jones Jr.
I hope you dont have cable or your satelite by then.

Actually Neils, we link with Boxing Scene already...I just don't liek to make superfluous posts of stuff I already wrote. :)
I took down the post already; I was sure you had seen it. Why isn't your article in the opinion central section...
