I'm trying to put big $$ on a 2-team Parlay. Reid(+300), Barrett(+200), and Castillejo(+300) seem like live underdogs.
Although I want the favorites to win...Lacy, Rock, and Vargas....I'm leaning right now toward parlaying Reid and Barrett.
What do you guys think about this? Dumb or not?
In boxing, yes, in college football, not really, you can usually get 7-10 pts added on to each line if you do a three-game parlay, and if you know your stuff, it can be profitable IN MODERATION.
But in boxing, yeah, I'd stay away.
They all seem like good ideas. I don't know if I'd do it because there are unanswered questions about Vargas and a few about Lacy. Not sure I'd bet AT ALL on the heavyweight fight, although I think Rahman will KO him in a close one.
I give Reid very little chance to beat Lacy in Florida--maybe if the fight were overseas...
Vargas should take care of Castillejo but not without some difficulty, but I forsee a late stoppage.
Barrett is a very live underdog, given Rahman's penchant for overlooking/underestimating opponents (a shot Holyfield was dominating him, Ruiz dominated him). I am picking Barrett to win this fight.
Just my take on the 3 fights...
