Those martial art guys are afraid to get hit, at least the ones i've seen fight were. Tyson would bully his way at them and crush their skull with a left hook. Any martial art expert would shit their pants if they had Tyson swarming at them like he did in his prime. Only one kind of person can beat an elite swarmer like Tyson, and thats an extremely powerful puncher like George Foreman.
I would love to say Tyson but it just would not happen. If the MMA fighter was dumb enough to stand and trade with Tyson then yea, Tyson KO, but more than likely the MMA would just shoot for the legs from a safe distance. Once Tyson is on the ground its over. Now if its just K1 style with no take downs then I give Tyson the edge.
Not the responses I was expecting but prime in a steet fight with a martial arts experts or anyone wearing no gloves and all that elusive headmovement all it one take is one punch and the guy would be in a hospital bed or a morgue . boxer are wear more skillful that martial arts experts or anyone of those ty kwanda pussies . Anyone can be a martial arts expert but only one man cab be heavyweight champ of the world .
Most of them are just a bunch of wankers. They are all young guys, I dont see how they can be experts. It takes a lot of years of study and practice to be the best at it.
Plus in UFC they dont go for a kill, they go for a KO.
IMO If I'm walking on the street, I'd much rather have a martial arts veteran or a secret service bodyguard(even without weapons) then Tyson.
Boxing is a sport, whilst there are many other fighting techniques which specificaly specilize on causing permanent damage, killing and just breaking every bone in your body.
Boxers are not trained to use their legs either. And trust me, a drop kick from lets say a 190lb Karatist is harder on your head then any punch.
You should also watch some of those Russian Spetsnaz tapes if you want to see some serious fighting skills.
P.S I never liked UFC because their fights are like big wrestiling matches.
I dont think anybody stands a chance against a real martial arts expert in a "fight for life". And I'm not talking about thos sissies you see at your local Karate joint for kids.
Tyson's peak was four or five fights before Spinks and yes he was indeed the best we've seen, but he was a shadow of his former self Post-June1988 for obvious reasons.
