Jirov is nothing at HW...MOVE BACK DOWN!

I watched that fight on Fox, and Jirov looked out of shape and like he didn't care. I think Toney said it best, "uninspired." If he doesn't put up a better effort, it won't make a difference what weight class he is in, his career will tumble.

ye he was extremely out of shape he was like 223. i remember b4 his fight with mesi he said his walk around weight was 210, so u know he wasnt training man. HE HAS to go back down, if he wants a good career. if not, hes finished

Majority Draw I agree, he is a great boxer, but gets hit way too much and simply isnt big enough for that weigh. He should drop down to cruiser for sure.

Or because he got a draw against Orlin Norris? Well, he beat Fuckhead McFuck and Asshead McCock at heavy, so obviously he deserves anything. Jirov's best win, and last significant win, was against Julian Letterlough back in like 2001. And Letterlough came in fat and out of shape like anything, hence the only reason Letterlough was a cruiserweight anyhow. Not that Jirov wouldn't have beat him anyhow, but yeah. Agreed. They should change the thread title to "Jirov is nothing... Go back to Russia"

honestly, though he may do better back at crusier...it IS possible that he is damaged goods...the Toney loss took a lot out of him...and the sudden KO loss to Moorer was a bit of a brain buster...though I think that was an ear shot

I think he's taken too many beatings...he has no defense and he won a lot of hits fights only after taking a lot of shots. He reminds me of JCC at the end of the "prime" of his career (like when he fought kostya tszyu). He should retire before he has done to him what he did to Joe Mesi.
