October 1st rematch won't happen! Taylor's stitches and concussion!

Apparently an OCT1st rematch will not happen because of the 15 stitches in Taylor's had. Plus it seems he has a concussion. So it may not even be until sometime next year. By that time the drive for a rematch may die off between the fighters which I hope not. I am still not convinced that Taylor dominates the division. I feel Hopkins would win the rematch to become a 2 Time Undisputed MW Champ, retire, vacate the belts, then a tourney should happen. The best MW should win. I doubt that Taylor suffered a concussion. If you can provide a link, that would be great.

The headbutt that caused the cut on Taylor's head was ruled accidental. For anyone who says it was deliberate is a moron because B-Hop is smart. He should've known that if he cut Taylor and lost the fight that he would have to wait for Taylor to heal in order to get the rematch. I'm sure B-Hop didn't mean for the headbutt because he doesn't have time to "wait."

Was the Head butt that deliberate? I haven't heard any commentary about teh butt..then againm all i've read was over on Maxboxing. They were all over BHop's scrotum, so that could be why there was no mention of the head butt. None in the mailbag, either. Nah, I didn't think the first one was deliberate, but who knows with B-Hop. He is a pretty sneaky fighter. But the second one I saw, looked like he aimed for TAylor's jaw, and connected with it. I'm pretty sure that one was. I need to see the fight again this weekend to be sure.

I was chopped at the ankles, flew completely upside down and landed on my head. Sat out for a drive, came back in and finished the game. Sometime concussions aren't even painful, just disorienting. And now look at the fight. It wasn't until after Hopkins drilled him with a headbutt and opened that gash that Taylor started losing momentum and the tide began to shift. It's almost apparent that after that round, Taylor was sluggish, uncoordinated and tired. Loss of blood, concussion, winded, fighting Bernard Hopkins. Still hung on for a decision. I do wonder, though, if BHop would start just as slow in a rematch. Actually I think hopkins best plan would be to start slow again. Taylor was able to hang on and weather the Hopkin's storm when he was almost out on his feet from exhaustion and loss of blood. Sorry Taylor is not Lennox Lewis, Lewis is a fraud & Lewis was knocked out twice with one punch. Lewis ducked Bowe for years, he also retired & didn't want to fight Vitali Klitschko. Bowe ducked Lewis...common knowledge.

You sure about that. I think Hopkins will be dancing around again for the first 9 rounds. Hopkins has never really been hit. He was down twice in one fight by -c class fighter. Hopkins will get destroyed if he ever brawls Taylor. I don't know you but just by reading your replies I would have to say that your one of these British fight fans that have only seen Hopkins post Trinidad fights & believes the guy cannot brawl. Do yourself a favor & watch Hopkins vs Echols. Those are real brawls! The only reason Taylor got the decision was that Hopkins didn't brawl enough. When Hopkins pressed the action Taylor was catching flush rights all round. Face it Hopkins got given the defeat more because of what he didn't do more so than what Taylor did. If Hopkins feels him out for a couple rounds instead of five & then turns up the heat THE REMATCH WILL BE A UD OR A LATE STOPPAGE (RD9 OR 10).

And its amazing to me how many people are clueless about boxing on a freaking boxing website. I usually just read the nonsense for entertainment. After seeing the cut on Taylor, I knew that it was not possible for him to fight in 2 months, the earliest I see this fight happening is sometime in mid December. Taylor will win easily in the rematch, if Borekins brawls with Taylor & not run away for the first 9 rounds. I see Borekins getting knocked out. Yeah thats pretty logical since Hopkins has never been knocked out & was at no point hurt by Taylor in the 1st fight. I believe Hopkins won the 1st fight & if they fight again I see a 9 or 10 round stoppage by Hopkins. no, in the 10th and 11 round Bernard connected with a cross that had Taylor really hurt. Then Bernard started throwing a lot of combinations, Taylor covered up and bent down without firing back, then Taylor just completly turned around (like his whole back and butt was facing Bernard) The ref came in and told him not to turn arund like that. He did that twice in the 10th and 11th. He had a look on his face like he didnt want to be here (Like Mike Tyson look on his face) u say the stupidest stuff..the only time jermain was turned like that was when they were in a clinch...and Hopkins kept hittin him so why not turn around...its illegal to hit in the back of the head so it was smart if u ask me...
