Out of all the young talent in boxing whos your favorites? I like Kendall Holt, Amir Khan, Matt Remilard, and Andre Eason. Theres probally some I am missing.
At what point do you stop becoming a prospect? Someone mentioned Adamek, and he's got a major belt. I saw him fight Briggs live and I'd like to see him again. Was Jermain Taylor a prospect til Sat. night? What about Jeff Lacy? or Calvin Brock?
I have to admit, I like watching Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., even though it makes me mad sometimes when he eats up a PPV slot fighting some kid who's been inactive for awhile that has just a handful of fights...
I've seen Denis Boytsov just once, but I like him; same with Paulie Malignaggi. Also I like: Robert Guerrero, Andre Ward, Michael Arnaoutis
u stop becoming a prospect when you beat at least one of the best in the division and hold at least one belt. then you are no longer a prospect, you are a champion.
ademek is still a prospect because hes not fought quality competition yet. that could change when he faces thomas ulrich in germany. ulrich may not be the best, but hes still pretty good.

I love these threads, get to plug my new fighters.
First one being out of respect for his performance on Friday is Jason Litzau what a fight last friday. Litzau showed he had a heart of champion after getting up from the canvas to win the nxt 3 rds and ultimately the fight. He is still young, only 22 w/ 15-0 record 14 KO's hopefully down the line we see a rematch w/ Nolasco. Also Jason has a brother Allen, dont think he has the talent and skill Jason has but what would be cool if thye both co -headlined a Friday Night Fight.
Next being Ireland's John Duddy who is 10-0 w/ 9 KO's I went to his last fight at the Garden and June and he showed he can be a good boxer puncher and not just a KO artist by going the full 8 rds and winning all the rds on every judges score card. Maek sure to check Duddy out he will headline Friday Night fights this week (July 22).
Also the "Magic Man" will be back on Aug 25 2005 in NYC. My boy Paul Malignaggi w/ a record of 19-0 will hopefully by the end of next year gets in the world title mix.
Another Irish man w/ some skills are Matt Macklin and Paul Hyland. lets see how they play out
dawid kostecki: 19-0 15 KOs, light HW, 24
tomasz adamek: 29-0 20 KOs, light HW, 28
kryztof wlodarczyk: 32-1 26 KOs, cruiser, 23 yr old
all polish fighters who take it as good as they dish it out.
Matt Remilard

I met Matt Remilard. He boxes out of Manchester(CT). I think the name of the amateur gym he used to go to was Manchester P.A.L.
his amateur record was like 135-15! He was a nasty amateur. I remember they had to bring down ppl from Mass & NY to fight him cuz he cleared out all of our experienced amateurs at 130! Sometimes he still goes to the amateur shows...like earlier in this year in March he was helpin his trainer in the corner wit the amateurs. he's pretty kool person and hopefully he becomes a good pro
I am all about Holt man! Also, keep you eyes open and ear to the ground for Jamar 'Young Prince' Patterson-- he has his third pro fight in early August at Turning Stone Casino in Verona NY.
Vicente Escobedo!
SacTown, Represent!
The kids looked SO fuckin impressive since going pro..
Amir Khan, I see a lot of potential in him(till he fights me)
Also Chavez Jr can be a decent fighter but I doubt he will be great (cuz I will knock him out to)
I also like Rocky Juarez...
In the more experienced prospects I see Cotto as a good one, Mayweather will be the greatest though..
I haven't seen too much of him but I gotta say I like Jaidon Codrington, moreso than Curtis Stevens. He looks like he can crack and has nice skills. I wonder if the Chin Checkers are going to be for real or if its just a gimmick.
Cottos not a prospect anymore but he's my 3rd favorite fighter.
