I like Litzau. I think he's definitely not a future hall of famer, and the first higher level opponent he fights is probably going to mop the floor with him, but until then, at least he's exciting to watch. I'd be suprised if more than a few fights in his career go the distance...whether it's him getting KO'd or whoever he's fighting.
lol, the funny thing is regardless of the 14 wins, only nolasco was a real test for him. I understand protecting your young fighter, but he should have faced SOME opposition long before last night! All I heard his corner tell him was mainly to keep that right up to protect against the left hook that downed him and to throw combos
Yeah, I haven't followed the guy too much...but I wasn't very impressed...records can be deceiving
i didn't mind his cockiness or w/e that much. his defense is wat bothered me. it SUCKS!!! he has good power but he pulls out with his hands low and falls in with his hands low--->rookie mistakes. he has got alot to learn
Litzau survived by the hair on his chinny chin...oh wait he doesn't have any...this guy needs better training...i didn't here his corner say that much really
-edit- You read my mind, why's he so cocky? I know 14 wins, 14 KO's but still...

His cockyiness was killing me. I wanted to get in that ring and knock him out. It should have been a draw. And he needs more discipline
Definitely needs more discipline...
Yeah, he about got a pt deducted for that mess. Cocky is one thing, but that kind of stuff tells your opponet youre not taking him serious, and with nolasco that was a mistake. Like I said, if nolasco hadnt taken the final rd's off that way and didnt admire his work when he had him hurt, he could have easily finished litzau.

His day will come. I can picture it now he grabs that rope and does that shit on it and gets brutally KO'd in the middle of it. Im picturing Robert Guerrero to be the one to finish him off. Although he'd duck Guerrero.. hes on a different level then Litzau

I agree...at best a draw (still gave it to nolasco by a pt.) He's alwyas been that way and thats one of the two things I dislike about him so much. Youre not the only one thats wanted to ko him, trust me!

Hopefully he fights Robert Guerrero and gets KO'd fast.
that would be a good fight for sure. Guerrero definately has the goods to get the job done too.
lol, you noticed that too huh? thats why I said it..cause of the way he started to fake him with one hand then throw the other..I thought 'oh come on man, stop the shit before you get ko'ed cause youre no leonard' although the ko would have been just fine with me!

Ray Lenoard he is not but he was trying to be like...

hahahaha, I was going to say the same thing...the crowd was the real judge! I just know how quick peeps here are to come back with "that bias and has nothing to do with it and blah, blah, blah, etc." so I'm glad you said it first. :D The thing is, that was the first time Jasons really been tested, and Nolasco isnt exactly a 'power puncher' so that makes me wonder about his chin??? Just a thought... He should definately consider keeping his hands up cause he's no Ray Leonard and showed he can be ko'ed!

Unless Nolasco KO'd him, there was no way he was beating Litzau. 14-0-0 (14 KO) prospect vs Nolasco...come on, but hey thats boxing and how it works. I just hope we get to see Litzau KO'd sometime soon.

lol, one can turn that around and say that Nolasco deserved the win for making litzau forget where he was too! :D my problems with jason are strictly personal...I've NEVER seen the guy fight a clean fight, and absolutely hate dirty fighters. Last night was a pleasure, watching him get dropped. The funny thing is, I could have sworn the ref. waved it off after that (when litzau was against the ropes) but to my disappointment, he was apparently just waving the end of the round (the sound of the bell) :( Now that was a real pisser! Nolasco just let up when he shouldnt have, and gave the last 2 rd's away, which probably cost him that fight. Oh yeah, youre right, for whatever reason (14 ko's in 14 I guess  ) jason has always been too cocky.

Close fight but I had Litzau slighty over Nolasco. I think he deserved the win after being dropped and not knowing where he was. He could be good in the future if he kept his hands up and stop that cocky shit in the ring.

The main event was much better than usual, but I've been waiting ages for Litzau to lose, and totally feel he did that last night. Not exactly what I call a robbery since I only had nolasco up by a pt., but not a W for Jason either. It's about time Litzau faced some REAL opposition and he definately showed he can 'come back' after a knockdown, along with showing just how green he still is.
