plz, dont consider hasim rahman a threat to any heavyweight champion. i mean, for gods sake, the man lost to john ruiz, oleg maskaev, lennox lewis, david tua, and hasnt beat anyone with a heartbeat in his career. and this swarming bullshit he tries to pull on vitali, vitali counters, jabs, and hammers when rahman gets close enough. no, rahman does not carry the one punch power to KO vitali. rahman doesnt have the tools, the balls, or the chance to even give vitali klitschko a problem. plz people, come back to reality and see what rahman really is. rahman beat himself by not training weighin 255-259..at 235 hes a bad motha fucka

Im sorry but Barrett is the most overratted fighter in the heavyweight division. His best fight was against Mesi and he lost. Also, Rahman want to duck Vitali right now because when he beat Barrett he will get a 45/55 split from a Vitali fight. He will be the interim champ and Vitali will have to choice but to take the fight or loose his title. Barrett has victories over previously undefeated Beck and Guinn, and he beat Witherspoon. IMO - he also should have a win over Mesi in a fight where he nearly killed him at the end (like Jirov). Barrett is one tough MF and we will all see how tough he is soon. But that's just my opinion, I'm entitled to it just as you are to yours. You do make a good point about the financial leverage the winner of Rahman/Barrett will have against Vitali. But you must remember, they can't walk away from Vitali either, they need to fight him to become champion as well. Despite what a lot of haters say, Vitali's not going to walk away.

i think u guys are seriously over rating rahman, a better right hand then lewis? umm no, btw who has rahman KO with 1 punch that was any good besides lewis? he TKO'd sanders after multiple punches and lewis has a weak chin, i dont see how u guys say he is gonna KTFO vitali if he doesnt have the power to.

Rahman only has 1 punch KO power but that will be hard against a fighter that has never been down on the canvas. I think the Rahman of the Lewis days is far behind us. He will get exposed again most likely in Barret fight. I do think Rahman Klitschko would be a tough fight but I see Vitali winning this one within 8 by KO...

Remember what Vitali's weakness seems to be? Or at least one of them. he and lewis are both weak to right hands.. ALl night long they traded right hands. They didnt land a single jab seemingly it was the right hands that they traded all night long. Notedly Rahman's right hand seems to be harder than lewis's who really knows but the right hand is one of Rahmans only good punhces. if he lets it fly and doesnt hold it like he did against lewis in the second fight then he has a serious chance. Also he cannot follow Klitchko. Remember in the first lewis fight he boxed and moved and in the second one vs Lewis Rahman followed him and got KTFO.

His guard sucks ass, his footmovement is average for a heavy, but he has good reflexes and a great sence of range. Unless he is going balls out offensive, its hard for head hunters to get a clean shot..... now a good body attack......

Vitali KO3 Rahman

By saying he needs back surgery so he can't fight Rahman, his mandatory....but he CAN fight someone else. If Vitali was on disability they would be video taping him and he'd be on one of those fraud buster shows. umm no, he had back surgury when he was set to fight rahman in july i beilve, the date was pushed back, he has had back surgury now and rahman is fighting barret, vitali will be ready adnm able to fight rahma on sept 24. damn u r dence

The only way I see Rahman beat Vitali is by applying lots of pressure in the 1st round.. going in WILD! Same tactic as Brewster used against Golota. Otherwise he stands no chance trading and playing a tactful fight.

Vitali has the defense of an armless man in a face slapping competition. Rahman has one punch KO power. Vitali has really bad scar tissue from when Lennox Lewis performed the autopsy on him, that could give at the slightest impact. Vitali has no heart and quits in adversity. These are just a few of the reasons.
