Man, where do I begin...I dunno , pbf was just the better fighter that nite, so I give him credit, he beat my boy.
Gatti shouldnt have boxed him, dunno it just seemed he wasnt enthusiastic during the fight. while in the cornor he seemed already beat. And that never happens Gatti is always ready to fight even if he was gettin hit hard and a lot. There are alot of questions unanswered, why didnt he throw the right hand!!??!
I guess the makin the 140 weight finally caught up to him. Hopefully he has success at 147.
still and always the champ Arturo
I would like to see Mayweather vs Hatton before Mayweather-Judah, but either would be a great fight...Gatti was outclassed on every level and Floyd actually showed some sportsmanship at the end of the fight (ala Judah after his win over Spinks) which made me dislike him less....I would still like to see him get his ass handed to him...I think Hatton at 140 has the best chance..Judah would be an interesting fight since they both have fast hands and good boxing skills...Floyd is superior but Judah may have more power...
Gatti should steer clear of Judah if he's going to 147. And regardless of what fight Gatti fought, he would've lost, Floyd jr. is just too many levels above Arturo as a fighter. I'm wondering who he's gonna fight now though. I doubt he can get a shot against Hatton now, maybe Cotto (LOL, at Miguel's facial expression during the fight though). I really hope that a Zab/Floyd jr. goes down, that would be sic.
after i watched that interview the first thing i thought to myself was...gatti looked like he knew he was going to get his ass handed to him, and theres nothing he can do about it...i shouldve trusted my first instinct
Hey Thunder Gatti, I told you from day one that this was going to be a blow out. You never listened and now finally you realize you like a scrappy piece of garbage fighter. Sure hes entertaining, Sure he's a blood and guts warrior.. but I ask you who has this guy beat? Obviously no one. I would just like to look back on all of your bullshit reasons why Gatti is going to beat Floyd and you defending him all of this time. I think you should hang it up just like your "boy" (which is a correct term to use for his lack of skills, hes just a boy in the ring).
Gatti fought the wrong fight, I guess, but really, I think Mayweather would have won anyways. The reason Gatti wasn't throwing the right is because Gatti knew he was going to be open for counters, and he could feel that Mayweather had enough power to seriously hurt him. There was really not a lot he could have done. Styles make fights, and Floyd is the wrong style for Gatti. Add the fact that Mayweather is probably the best boxer goin', and it's even worse for him.
Gatti will NEVER beat Floyd.....
I hate to say it, but I think I just jumped on the Floyd bandwagon..
You might not want to do that, I loosened the bandwagon's wheels. Kinda dangerous on there. :D
no one is in mayweathers class. 90% of ppl were rooting for gatit, but ppl knwe that mayewather would win, i personally thougth by decision tho. i always thought that mayweather had superior skill, and even though i thought he lost the first fight against JLC, he beat him clearly in the rematch
I think the biggest reason he didn't throw too many righthands was because he was getting hit and hurt by the lefthook. He wanted to defend against the lefthook so he was keeping the righthand at home most of the fight.
gatti is still and always be my favorite fighter, because he stands for what boxing stands for. i think mayweather has incredible talent, but his attitude and how he disrespects the sport makes me not like him. gatti shouldnt have boxed with a boxer he fought the fight wrong. and yes i agree he didnt look how he usually looks for a fight.
