morales will not back away from nobody you all should know this by now :cool: if corrales thinks he is gonna get an easy fight with erik he is so wrong... erik is not gonna make the same mistake castillo did standing toe to toe... he's gonna box his way out an he is gonna win an UD :cool:

Chico is being smart calling out Morales, he knows he can make good money and it will be less risky that a rematch with Castillo...He'll rematch Castillo sooner or later.. I dont think he will rematch Castillo, he should though. It could result in a stunning trilogy, that is if Castillo was to win said rematch.

If I could think of anything that the fight would be like I'd say Arguello/Pryor II...with Morales being Arguello, having a few nice moments in the fight, but ultimately being overwhelmed by the bigger stronger guy.

chico would win in a brutal manner. I would like to see him fight castillo again as i think castillo would win the rematch. As much as i'd like to see morales win i don't think that would happen.

Give Morales a little more credit than "easy" fight. Nobody gets an easy fight with Morales sir... It might not be easy but Morales cant do what Castillo can do at 135, hell he cant do it at 130. Morales is my boy but he needs to stay at 130 or fight someone else 135 first.

I admire Morales for wanting to step up and fight Chico, but there's no way his chin will hold up. Chico by a vicious KO.

Damn what a bitch! He has Castillo up in face yelling for a rematch and he calls out a way smaller guy. Morales should say I ll fight you but you cant use a mouthpiece or glue that shit to your teeth.

I cannot help but to thank how much Morales gets hit and how sometimes his legs CAN get a bit shakey when hit hard. Diego hits like a truck and would have a great shot at being the first to stop Morales. But Morales has the skills to outbox him and Chico still has the shakey chin. Despite his knockdowns though, Corrales doesn't stay down after a knockdown. So you cannot count him out. Funny thing is that both men would be coming off of wars. That's true. Corrales certainly has the power to stop Erik but he'd have to tag him a lot to put him down. Corrales would definitely be the favorite. Morales wasn't battered the way that Corrales was, and I'm just very interested to see how Diego will bounce back from that last fight. Erik has fought pretty damned well coming off wars in the past though. I don't think Erik has even close to the power to KO Corrales but he definitely has enough pop to command his attention and possibly even put him on his ass if he's not careful. I'd root for Morales all the way even though smart money would be on corrales based on his sheer size and punching power alone.

hmm Corralles is a puss. Morales? Morales used to fight at 122 lbs and lower. Stop the BS. Diego needs to fight real 135 lbers. Hell Morales doesn't even have that much pop at 130. At 135 Diego would destroy him. Diego needs to fight Lazcano, Diaz, Castillo, Floyd, Tszyu, Hatton; someone along those lines.

....It would be an entertaining matchup that I wouldn't mind seeing though.
