Hey if any of you out there Remember Ike The president Ibeabuchi then here is a question for you. If Ike had not gone to jail do you all think he would have cleaned out the division? Do you think that he would have been able to beat Lennox Lewis?
I personally feel he was the future of the Division at least for a few years. He was already 28 I think so he wouldnt have reigned for long but he would have probably beat all of the bleak fighters out there now
I think it is true what someone has said about Bruno's punching power. I think Bruno had huge punching power. When he fought Mc Call, sometimes he would knock Oliver halfway back across the ring. He couldn't knock Oliver out though because Mc Call doesn't do knockouts. Bruno was slow though....I wonder where he got all his power from then
Later brother brologs.
There is no one who loves talking about old school mostly 80's heavyweights more than my man ToneyT...what gives Toney? Was Bert Cooper your dad? Mike White an uncle? What?
Later brolog (not copying just admiring)
It was funny when Ike KO'd Byrd, poor Chris was so disoriented, you could see the slobber coming out of his mouth.
And yeah, the way he brought the war to Tua made it a fun fight to watch.
i think he cud beat lewis , ibeabuchi is like mike tyson with ring intelligence( he has tactics and know where is the right time to execute and be aggressive not like mike ) and wid good chin but enough power as tyson posses , but speed will be a really great advantage and factor for ike.
ike beat tua in a war... impressive not because he beat tua, but the way beat tua... tua can be easily outboxed, but you have survive his big punch... ike went toe to toe with tua and showed a great chin, good power, hand speed and alot of ring savy(keeping his right hand high to gaurd against tua's left hook)... then against byrd, he showed he could search and destroy and not get discouraged from byrd's antics and defense...
still, i can't say he would have beaten lewis... there's no way to tell how he would react to fighting someone like lewis... a superheavyweight with a long jab, big power...
Exactly, every fighter including Lennox Lewis fought Tua at a distance and was scared shitless of the Tuaman...no one ever dared trade with him for even a tiny portion of a round...just like you said Ike went toe to toe for 12 rounds...no one has ever done that before and adding to that Tua was 100% absolutely positively in his prime for that fight.
I brought up Michael Spinks because Ibeabuchi's one quality win is against Byrd and Michael Spinks is a comparable small heavyweight but alot better than Byrd. And Tyson KO'd him in 1 so it is a relevant point.
Fair enough McKay...oh just one more thing...
If you would could you please elaborate a bit on the great Marvis Frazier...maybe give me a little history lesson if you will.
When I was a little tike my mother used to tell me stories about Marvis and his father Joe and how he was basically pushed into the ring against Iron Mike...my mother was able to put me too sleep everytime with that Frazier story...
Go ahead McKay give it your best shot, tell me about the accomplished MArvis Frazier....

chris byrd has a good chin, ibeabuchi is the only guy to have stoped him, even the so called big puncher wlad klitschko couldn't finish him off, byrd has just as much heart as any heavyweight out there.
God dman it McKay quit showing your age!
I was referring to the Lennox Lewis vs. Frank Bruno fight...you appear to be mixed up which I don't appreciate.
You use the word obliterate, a word which never came out of my mouth/keyboard...you said earlier that Tyson would have "murdered" both men and I was simply saying that you were dead wrong about your choice of words...
Why did you bring up Michael Spinks with me? I mentioned Henry Tillman, Marvis Frazier and ALex Stewart...trust me i understand how great Spinks was in his day and it is a very impressive win on Tyson's record regardless of what some haters say.
Make sure you read over the post before making comments, dont worry I am guilty of the same thing every now and then...your my boy mcKay-once we work out those sloppy kinks in your armor we are going to have one solid poster on our hands...take it easy boy.

I dont want to here about the Lennox Lewis fight. That version of Tyson does not need Lennox Lewis to lose to. That version of Tyson can lose to Danny Williams.
Mike Tyson one of the most accomplished heavyweights of the late 80's and 90's you are ridiculously saying would be obliterated by a totally unacomplished fighter in Ibeabuchi.
Ibeabuchie KO'd Byrd oh wow. Golota beat the shit of Byrd too. McCline beat him up pretty bad. Wlad beat the shit of him.
Tyson has destroyed way better fighters than Byrd. Dont try to tell me that Chris Byrd is a better fighter than Michael Spinks who Tyson KO'd in less than a mineute.

Bad usage of Larry Holmes. Everyone knows that Larry was WELL past his best and stood very little chance to keep that young Mike off of him.
The Tyson that beat Holmes would have beaten Ike...but after prison Mike would have gotten merc'd.
Tyson was fine after prison. He would lost to EVander Holyfield any year and time any place. That is just a fact that Holyfield had Tyson's number. Holyfield had been calling out Tyson ever since he went to the heavyweight division. Just because he lost to Holyfield after coming out Prison does not mean shit. Then after loosing to the Holyfield he did not get a chance to fight again until like the year 2000 and then it was clear that he was a dimished fighter. After coming out prison he became WBA WBC Heavyweight champion and in my opinion looked stronger than directly before entering prison against Ruddock.
Larry Holmes went on to fight in the 2000's decade. HE even put up a very good performance against Evander Holyfield in the early 90's. A VERY GOOD performance in a bid for the Undisputed Heavyweight Title. And this was years prior to that. This is right after Holmes lost to Michael Spinks in what year 1987? Holmes was bouncing on his feet in that fight and everything landing the jab. He was doing good. He just got caught bad and could not recover.
Already had a 15 year career with 50 fights on his resume...already had taxing fights with Shavers and Cooney...
Prime or close to prime Holmes would have toyed with Tyson.

Mike Spinks was a LHW who has trembling in fear of being in the ring with Tyson. Again, SKILLED fighters with a good jab and HEART/CHIN beat Mike Tyson.

Larry Holmes was a skilled with one heck of a jab and was not afraid of him. Frank Bruno had a good jab too. You are thinking of Tyson vs Lennox Lewis saying that cant deal with jabs. Nobody ever wanted to throw jabs against him because he would jump through those jabs and land a gigantic left hook and then get inside and land an upercut.
Tyson vs Lennox Lewis= Tyson weighs in at 2nd highest weight ever at 234 pounds. He was only above 230 pounds 3 times. Against Brian Nielson 239 Lennox Lewis 234 and Danny Williams 233.
Bad usage of Larry Holmes. Everyone knows that Larry was WELL past his best and stood very little chance to keep that young Mike off of him.

Alex Stewart, Henry Tillman and Marvis fucking Frazier were accomplished HW's...boy you have a lot to learn.
By the way Bruno was the type of guy not to go down, he enjoyed being ko'd on his feet, check out his fight with Lennox, he won every round and then got caught by a lucky LEFT and he fell a sleep on his feet.
Marvis Frazier, cmon Mckay, Fuck!

he's talking about the entire package, being fearless, having a tremendous chin, unbreakable will, good power, patience, good punch output, these sorts of things would be things that tyson had not encountered very often, and when he did he LOST.
Frank bruno did not have these things.
A lot of people have overrated Ike but what I've seen of him against Tua, Byrd, and a couple of clips against Davis remains...
He was a strong fighter with a good jab, threw punches in combination well, a good chin, good ring presence, intelligence inside of the ring, good power, and patience.
Time and time again people have lost their cool against Byrd...not Ike. Tua has blasted out many good fighters with that left hook...not Ike.
I don't think Ike would have beaten a fighter like Lennox Lewis, but he would have given him a good fight, and he would have beaten the post-prison release form of Mike Tyson.
Tyson has beat more accomplished heavyweights than Ike Ibeabuchi like for instance Frank Bruno twice. Henry Tillman Alex Stewart Michael Spinks Larry Holmes Marvis Frazier. And like I said Bruno hits harder than Ibeabuchi. All his wins are by KO except 2 and his chin is not that bad. He took some brutal uppercuts from Tyson in the first fight and was still standing up but his corner threw in the towel. Only persons Bruno ever lost to was Tyson twice, Lennox Lewis and then somebody else at the end of his career.
Alex Stewart, Henry Tillman and Marvis fucking Frazier were accomplished HW's...boy you have a lot to learn.
