Nicolay Valuev vs Clifford Etienne

First things first- my hat is off to Etienne. He's notorious for his glass chin, and he came in there against this giant and was launching himself into him throwing absolute bombs. LOL I mean, he knocked himself down once just by running and jumping to Valuev trying to KO him. I almost spit my Coke on myself... THAT is how you fight when you know you're the underdog and have no chance to win from the outside or on points (see the opposite of this in Castillo-W.Klitschko). Etienne actually should have been given 5 minutes to recover after that last KD. He was going down anyway, but as he was falling that was about as clear and as illegal rabbit punch as you will ever see. Valuev loads up and punches right at the back of his head and connects- and didn't need to bc Etienne was going down anyway! I do know why American fighters don't like to leave the country. Of course, there's just as much corruption here, but at least if that was in Vegas Ratner would have jumped up on the apron and yelled at the ref that he gets 5 mins (probably). Anyway, I just liked Etienne's balls in this fight. He knew what he had to do to win and he gave it all he had and then some (and landed some bombs too- just nothing perfect and clean like he needed). Valuev was just too big (and landed a huge rabbit punch too). (Contrast this with Tito, who knew what hehad to do to win against Wright, yet didn't even give it a feeble attempt. No urgency, nothing. Put Etienne's heart in Tito vs. Wright and Tito wins....)

Valuev should've been disqualified for hitting at the back of the the head and when his opponent was down. What a disgrace. Etienne hardly trained for this fight. Valuev is still slow and wide open. The Rhino landed a few solid right hands though they didn't stun or hurt Valuev. As soon as Valuev steps up he's going to get destroyed and embaressed. I'm really starting to dislike him though he seems to be a nice guy. I can't stand the way Sven Ottke talks about him and tries to sell that he's the best HW around. Valuev pushed Etienne down on several occasions, hit him in the back of the head, knocked him out with a shot to the back of the head and hardly got a warning for it. Yep, Valuev is one of the p4p worst fighters ever. The thing is that he has more lean mass (weight - body fat) than all the other fighters that he faces has weight. The guys he is fighting are legit B level fighters and he is taking them out early. I think he beat Nobles, Levin, and now Ettine in his last three fights. He is more deserving of a title shot than that Liakovich gut that beat Guinn 6 rounds to 4. His next fight has to be with someone that is cute and will not just stand there and try to trade. That guy that beat Holyfeild last Larry Donald could be a good step up. I would not be surprised if Donald won all 10-12 rounds. I will try to post this fight in the next hour or so.

La Noir Rhino Entienne De Afrique is big and strong but not very skilled. He probably is not as strong as Valuev though. he is kinda fat too.

I do not know much about Etienne. I have never seen that fighter. Is Etienne a good fighter? I do know about Valuev. I have never seen Valuev fight, but I have seen a picture of him in a Russian website and I have read that he is a monster that cannot be stopped. Perhaps only strong fighters have a chance against Valuev.

I bet on Etienne. I don't think I will win, but I hate Valuev. I think that Pound 4 Pound he is the one of the worst fighters I have ever seen. But I still think he will be a heavyweight champ if he can avoid the klitschko's and get a fight with Bryd or Ruiz.
