Why is Oscar Larios ducking Mccullough?!?

Wayne was a great bantamweight champion, but he's useless at 122-126, he has no firepower, landing slaps and glancing shots against Larios did NO damage, had NO effect, and Larios was in cruise control from round 3 on because he knew that Wayne had no ammo behind his shots, it was Larios' easiest defense and a rematch would be pure murder and becuase of my Irish Pride I don't want to see my boy get crushed every time he tries to win a title belt Hey man alright, now were getting somewhere. Now we can have an intelligent convo. That was ur best reply yet man. But listen were just going to have agree to disagree. When you say Larios was in cruise control through round 3, I really dont think that was correct b/c I had Wayne winning rounds 3 through 7. It was only the stamina issue that prevented Wayne from through his barrage of punches that hurt, confused, and stunned Larios through the middle rounds. Wayne just couldnt keep it up. And the only reason I gettin on Larios is that he and his managment promised a rematch and are now backing down on their word. And on top of that I truely believe if Larios is not fighting Wayne than he should be fighting Guzman. It is just cowardice on Larios's part at the moment. And yet nobody here could still offer me a good explaination on why Wayne should not get another shot at Larios, when Larios himself and his promoters said they would give Wayne a shot and when Wayne beats the champ for arguably for half the fight.

As I recall, the fight was very close in the early to mid rounds, with McCullough mounting serious offensives on Larios. Had McCullough stuck with it, he might have got the decision or even knocked Larios out. As I remember, as the fight went into the later rounds Larios started to win the rounds more easily and McCullough had abandon his strategy. As for the scoring, I thought the bout was closer than it was on the score cards but I had Larios winning just the same.

Haha, LOL at PBF ducking Chico. I remember that Larios fight and I scored every round, but one, for Larios. Oscar wiped the floor with Wayne, and I like Wayne a lot. It's just how it goes. There is no need for a rematch. Oscar should, however, fight Guzman or move up and fight Harrison or Marquez, those would be good fights. I do understand that Guzman is having some managerial problems and can't sign for a fight until he figures some stuff out.

They did, and McCullough as usually stood up for 12 rounds and took his beating. People think as long as McCullough has a good chin he should be awarded title fights!

u know what it was right? they were inamoured with the whole idea of wayne leaving this boxing ontop cuz it was suppose to be his last fight wasnt it? and they were just too impressed by how much he was able to take i mean it is impressive but u dont win a fight on how much u can take you hit the nail on the head, being able to absorb punishment and work thru it will win some fans, but it won't win any rounds

larios would lose in Ireland-no doubt, wayne would be a man possessed infront of his home crowd. the first fight larios probably knicked by a round, possibly 2-no way by 8 points-that was a home town score if not decision.

they fought already Larios by UD he didnt get a home town decition it was close i would have not given the decition to Wayne tho

Lets clear a few things up here, first of all its funny my theads that have nothing to do with Gatti, seem to end up with stupid people basing him. But its cool. For the people who say Gatti has ducked Mayweather for a year are completely stupid. Read my friends, Gatti has been calling out Mayweather and Kosta since after the Ward fight. Remember Gatti was supposed to fight the winner of Spadafora/ Mayweather which was to happen at MSG in June of 2004 and Gatti would have fought the winner in January 2005. But both Spadafora and Mayweathers legal problems prevented that fight from happening. Bottom line is Gatti will fight anybody. Now back to the thread, one guy making sense is the giant one. Everybody else out there who posted this fight was close obviously did not see this fight. And like I said before if Larios is not fighting McCullough, he should be fighting Guzman. Other people have mentioned this scenerio as well, so props to people like Knicksman etc. And I've seen my "Mexicanos" comment offended some people. Well the reason I said that is because I didnt know who else liked this guy I figured the majority of them would be Mexican, and read the whole thing I also called out his other fans. Why doesnt anybody want to fight my boy the "Pocket Rocket"? This is unbelievable. After the fight between Larios and Mccullough, Larios promised a rematch w/ McCullough in Ireland. Yhan at the Paqcuio-Morrales fight in March, Mccullough met w/ Larios's manager who also stated that there would be a re match. Now Larios is fighting an old Tapia? This is bullshit. Larios is a coward, first of all he should fight Wayne in a re match and if not that at least fight Guzman, which he is not doing. Why is it all 5 people Wayne has lost to, none of them have wanted a rematch?? Maybe the Mexicanos here can explain, or anybody else out there who likes this coward Larios.
