Mark my words: Hopkins will lose to Taylor.
Golden Boy Promotions needs another champion to promote! Hopkins beats him, retires and they are left with nothing!
All about politics!
I’m sure Oscar already talked him into it!
And no one believed me! This was one of my First Threads when I joined..
Think about it.. (again)
Most Hopkins fans still believe that B-Hop won the fight... But Taylor is still a valid champ as he beat B-Hop.. therefore when Hopkins retires, there wouldn't be any shit talking that Taylor is a paper champ...
You Get the best of Both worlds.. B-Hop still retires a "champ" and Taylor wins by a split decision, which is not convincing enough to ruin Hopkins legacy, but on the other hand convincing enough to make Taylor a new champ!
As I predicted before.. Could the fight be staged
most HOPKINS fans though he won the fight. no shit.....
Well Well Well

Hopkins will loose to Taylor!
What's more important to him, legend, or his future life and his family?
He is already a legend and now he needs to pass on the torch!
If he wins and retires, there will not be a real champ and people will always question is he the real deal?
I say it again.. MARK MY WORDS: HE WILL LOSE and LOSE BY POINTS!I thought you were on to something when I read the title of the thread, know you are just sounding like a drunk conspiracy theorist... Bernard and Taylor are going to get there thing on and the better man is going to win and then the winner goes on to getting on with the winner or wright and trinidad plain and simple.
WHY AND THE F*CK WOULD TAYLOR SIGN TO GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS WHEN HIS PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY GOT HIM THIS FAR SO SOON IN HIS CAREER?
This is boxing not gymnastics, ain't no fighter that has worked this hard in his career to gain recognition, about to hand his title to a young upstart just so he can promote him and make money off him, when his has just started to get money himself...
Well, if Bernard loses he throws away a possible $10M fight with Trinidad if he can get past Wright. The winners are supposed to meet, or so they say. There is no contract nor is this a tourney, but that's what both fights have indicated, with all four fighters wanting to fight the winner of the other fight should they win.
I think Nard will win a very close, maybe even a split, decision. Also, Taylor has no options with GPB after the fight so, even if Hopkins loses, they don't get any money from Taylor's next fights.
Hopkins wont lose the fight and he wouldnt even think about throwing a fight not even if they put 50 million in front of him the guy has some dignity.
Hopkins decision or late stoppage.

Look you guys are forgeting this isnt Hopkins last fight. Hes not going to win or lose then retire. He said he would like tof finish this year up with 2 or 3 fights. You do know there is a rematch clause in the contract right.
Hopkins is very experince, When you have the experince that Hopkins have thats what he will use to beat taylor. Taylor shows way to much respect for hopkins, I will not say taylor doesnt have a chance but i am willing to cash on it, That Hopkins either brakes him down or takes him 12. Trust me bernard hopkins is very very patient as we saw in the eastman fight. Taylor hasnt been fully tested yet. His chin never been tested hes never been a fight vs a real real threat oppent. Joppy was done but he did well. I like taylor i just dont think its his time yet. He is a very very nice guy out of the ring. Best luck to the both of them. But i am going with Hopkins.

Mark my words you need to learn to spell the word LOSE before starting a thread with your nonsense bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)
Hopkins wouldn't think of doing something as foolish as that, so if I am hearing you correctly you think that, After 20 consecutive defenses of his middleweight title that he will throw away a picture perfect ending to an already exemplary legacy to have a chance of signing Taylor afterwards?
WOW I'm convinced, what the fuck would he do that for, you don't think Hopkins is already at least a little bit pissed that so many people think his ko win over Oscar was bogus? No way he does that, if Hopkins loses to Taylor(which he just might do) it will be because Taylor won straight up no bs!!!!
very interesting. Never thought about that because I think Hopkins will beat Taylor, but your theory does make some sense. I still have money on Hopkins though, so i hope you are wrong
