Promoter Art Pelullo/Banner Promotions has officially announced the April 15 ESPN2-televised card at the Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights, Washington. In the main event, Antwun Echols, 31-5-1 with 27 knockouts, will fight Kingsley Ikeke, 22-1 with 12 knockouts in an IBF elimination bout for the #2 middleweight ranking.
Rock on.
Never understood my Ikeke hasn't been moved along faster. He's a freak 6'4 I believe. He looked good against Primera showing good movement and defensive skills. I think he beats Echols and should move on to fight Sturm. I think that would b a very interesting fight
Ikeke, for all his size, is more awkward than powerful. He is certainly not a big puncher, and sometimes looks like a giraffe on roller skates - all gangly and ungraceful. But he is undeniably dangerous; I would keep Sturm away from him however, Sturm is too experienced - I could see him confusing Kingsley en route to a decision..
Unless Ikeke has a shaky chin, he will pound Echols-possibly stop him later on. Echols looked like shit recently against Ross thompson, the guy is not hat he used to be.

espn has been puttin there shit together recently, this is a great card and the winner should get a crack at jermain taylor unless taylor fights hopkins first. i know ikeke had called out taylor before but taylor punked out.
