They used to talk shit alot but Erik was always too small. He always said that he would move up and fight Floyd. If Floyd beats Gatti then he will have some good mainstream fanfare and him vs Erik would be a huge big money PPV fight.
Who do you think would win and why? I think Floyd is too big for him and would be better in every catagory including power at this weight. Im sure Floyd could still make the weight. He only left for big fights. He still doesnt come into the ring that big at 140
Its obvious you have no idea why he HAS to say that so take it easy. It's called LOSING A BET... :footinmou
OG thanks for guarding my back but for a guy who once thought PAC could take PBF at 135, its not a far stretch for me to think that ERIK can beat PBF at 135, lol ...
i dont know about you guys but please don't put your man down, if he likes to fight at 135 then let him be (I PERSONNALY WANT HIM TO STAY AT 130 FOR A REMATCH) and if PBF wants to get a big fight going back to 135, then let them go at it..
I won't bet on it, but I will be rooting for Erik who would be definetly an underdog if this fight ever happens ...
VIVA MEXICO - VIVA ERIK MORALES !!!
Some of you seem to have the idea that Morales' is skill limited in the ring it seems. He is not even close to as limited skill as Hernandez, Diego Corrales, even Castillo.
I think floyd would win a competitive fight but saying he would box Morales ears off or something that implies Morales is ver skill limited is plain incorrect..
no doubt about it will be competitive and i would be rooting for erik ...
VIVA MEXICO - VIVA ERIK MORALES !!!
I disagree with those who say that Floyd cant KO him. I think Floyd would stop him. He is a much more offensive fighter now. Erik is good but he has slowed at 130. He will slow even more at 135 and will have much less power. Someone said that Morales has a granite chin which is true but he has fought guys from 122-130. Much smaller guys and guys that have hurt him. Floyd will come down from 140 with alot of speed and sharp punches. I dont see Erik being able to last 12 rounds.
Another reason is that you might could last if you didnt fight and cover up the whole fight but Morales will swing alot and will be leaving himself open for alot of crisp, sharp counters from Floyd
Yup, We all saw how he countered his last opponent
Morales would be stopped by PBF. The speed & power would dominate Morales. If Barrera's speed gave Morales trouble in their 3rd fight, he's in a world of trouble against PBF. Morales wouldn't be able to hurt Floyd because he doesn't have the fire power to hurt him, & he would have a hard time hitting him just like most fighters have that have got in ther ring with PBF.
I'll tell you, I thought Morales beat Pacquiao, but he did it unimpressively. He took too many shots, didn't show much power, and only moved back and forth, no side to side. I think Mayweather would simply impose his will and his skill on Morales. There would be a couple of moments in the fight in which Morales is starting to rally, but Mayweather's skill would be too much for Morales and the towel will come in sometime in the 10th.
The Only Fighter Who Will And Can Beat Floyd Mayweather Is A Fighter Whos Naturally Bigger And Has A Big Punch...this Isnt Up For Debate..a Guy Smaller Then Floyd Would Never Beat Him..the only ppl who said "this would be a good fight" are mexican
WTF are you insane ????
Morales will kill PBF at 135 for sure he can't make weight, he will be too dehydrated, while EM will be at his strongest ...
Blind devotion. Nothing wrong with that.
It's obvious that you have no clue  of what you are talking about. Even the most ignorant person would not think that Morales could beat Floyd. So, you continue on with your gibberish.

YOU WISH BRO, MORALES IS THE BEST P4P NUMERO UNO!!!

It'd be a competitive fight but I think Floyd would be a bit too much for Morales at this stage of the game. I can see Floyd winning a fairly comfortable decision, with Morales showing his skill in spurts. Whoever is saying that Morales would get his ears boxed off is an idiot, being that Morales has some of the best natural boxing skills in the game. I still think that at 135 Morales would slow down even more and that would really hurt his chances to bust up Floyd. Floyd would get hit him with sharp counters and just beat him to the punch. I'd love to see it however...

PBF has proven his worth against every type of fighter. He's especially devastating against sluggers and despite EM skills as a boxer, he just has an innate tendency to fight. Jesus Chavez gave EM a hard time w/ a hurt shoulder while Floyd Mayweather stopped him w/in the distance. As for PBF getting whipped by EM in sparring, he also got owned to Paul Spadafora. I guess the Pittsburg kid should take him on 2 :)
He only went up 5 pounds and he left because he wanted big fights, not because he couldnt make weight. He still comes in small at 140.
Jones went all the way to 200 pounds and they came back down to 175. Thats a big difference
PBF toyed with guys weighing at 150 with his speed, i dont think he will have the same advatage with Erik ...
i still think EM will kick some _ss at 135, like to see him againts the winner of Chico-Castillo fight and then challenge PBF..
that was before, but not now with all the muscle PBF develope it will take to much from him to go down, just like what going back down was for RJJ, a career ending move ...
