How would you rate a young larry holmes mobility ? . I saw a young larry holmes up on his toes dancing against shavers and I think holmes looked ali like on his feet . I think a young holmes was very quick on his feet .
lmao you're still going on about fighters footspeed... get a life!
damn, treat catskills with respect, no wonder your karma bar is red,
i have noticed though that catskills has foot fetish, so what?
catskills, you there?
From what I've seen, there are a couple of fights where Page moves were somewhat Ali-like, LeDoux and Berbick. However, in the latter, his movement and lack of inside fighting skill cost him a decision.
Yo Dynamite67 was greg page far off ali in footspeed, could page float like a butterfly like ali ? .
At times, Page's footwork was like Ali, but most of the time, it was a slower version of what Muhammad was, as we all know, the boy was very overweight much of the time.
Biggs was faster than a post-83 Page, but a pre-82 Page was at least every bit as fast as Biggs.Hey, man, check out the fight with Marty Monroe and Evangelista and notice the footwork.
Holmes was faster on his feet than Seldon, but maybe not as fast as Tyrell Biggs.Matter of fact, Page,Dokes, and Tucker probably had better movement and mobility than the Holmes' of the 80's.
Who cares how fast Holmes was on his feet!!! His effective use of his jab and occasional off rhythm right were what he was known for. If you want to talk about foot movement, talk abt Willie Pep. It's like asking was Tyson faster on his feet than Tua. Who the hell cares!! They'll both tear you to shreads flat footed and that's all that mattered
