contender vs next great champ

Not even close, any fighter on The Contender would've KTFO Otis Griffin or David Pareja.

The contender vs. the next great champ vs. the ultimate fighter I heard that the winner from the contender and the winner from the ultimate fighetr are going to go against each other in a boxing match to battle and show which show is better, I'd rather see Otis Griffin from the next great champ fight the winner from the contender, becuase it will which show is better. Besides, the ultimate fighter contestants do some of kind of stupid kicking boxing shit, so it would be really weird to see a kickboxer just box. what do you all think?

Neither show is spectacular but as the season has progressed Contender definately pulls through. I mean sure TNGC was crap but it was on FOX and was rushed...As if by Fox doing the show wouldnt have already been considered a flop. TNGC was tolerable and I watched each week just out of pure enjoyment of seeing at least SOMETHING boxing related in primetime...They get an A for effort though. On top of that, I loved how everyone would shit talk one another on each episode. The fights were mediocre but half the reason I tuned in was because I wanted to see Zaragoza and Pareja get crushed. I enjoy both shows but I do like the effort put forth by both as well but the Contender is becoming the clear cut winner. However I dont like the fact that they gave second chances in either show, especially on the TNGC because it wasnt a team show like the Contender is.

lol, someone was dissing Otis on some forum and he posted there. They shutup pretty quick :) I been watching the contender, never seen ODLH show cos it wasnt aired in UK. I hope Contender ratings continue to rise, it rose by 30% last week apparently.

I saw Otis' first fight following the show, it was at Arco Arena here in SacTown, the guy is a club fighter at best, he'd get crushed by any guy on The Contender despite Otis having about a 20 pound weight advantage

I tried to watch the next great champ but i just couldnt get into it, The Contender is a much better show by far.

The Contnder for a simple reason- They use REAL fighters and not the posers that were on The Next Great Chump. I mean champ.

what ever happin to the otis griffin fighting for the championship fight, i know he won the show, but never seen the championship fight, i like the contender alot better, yall better look out for that Virginia boy Jimmy Lange, he is a good fighter, has a lot of heart,

Otis Griffin won the next great champ. Who the fuck is Otis Griffin. The Contender has Ishe Smith, Peter Manfredo, Anthony Bonsante, etc. Guys I actually knew from before the show.

who else thought that The Contender in one night displayed more drama and excitement and character developement (as well as better fight scenes) than The Next Great Champ did all season? I agree. I think the Contender is a pretty decent show.

Contender is way better than the next great champ. The fights are longer, the fighters are extremely better, and just the way it is directed and displayed just blows the next great champ out of the water. I agree. :boxing:

I agree with you fully. The next great champ was a waste of my time. The contender not only displayed more drama, excitement, and charcter development, but they also put together a much more qualified and competitive group of fighters. I you have not seen it and are interested, I posted a some credentials and info on the fighters of the contender on the guru's thoughts on the show. It is a few pages back if you are curious.
