guys important we gotta make a difference here

it saddens me to see there is more and more insults being traded and less and less boxing discussed. This place at times is turning into a war zone and we could do without it, if people put as much thought into their boxing analysis as they do their insults (though i do admit some are funny) the this would be the Bible of boxing websites. As it is, its pretty thin on displays of boxing knowledge at times and i know some of you guys are better than that. I think we need to up the ante here people lets talk more boxing and less insults and verbals. If the knowledge that some of you have could come to the fore it really would help attract some more high brow posters, maybe even fighters and trainers. I know it happens on other sites, so how cool would that be you could actually discuss careers and fights with the people involved maybe even some of your heroes. :cool: At present this aint gonna happen cos there are too many people giving each other shit. Its a shame you can help Rick and boxing scene here or you can keep this petty bollox up til all you have left is a bunch of guys taking the piss out of each other. its up to you guys, but I for one am getting pretty tired of wading through 1700 posts to find one that might be boxing related with any substance, come on guys you can do this :boxing:

So do I...like the other day I called you an ass, and I enjoyed it, and you knew I was joking. There should be plenty of jabbing, joking and light hearted digs...but the personal insults about a poster and/or their family is over the line and the work of cowards. It's not like any of the people here even know anything personal about anybody else, so to post all kinds of insults based on someone's private life is just stupid. But joking...oh yes, lets have plenty of that, to keep things lively! :D but I am an ass! very good..agreed

then i wnet and disgraced myself one day byu losing my rag with a certain poster(s) and bieng a bit out of order myself. ive given myself a virtual slap though and it wont happen again. :cool: :boxing: Lol, dont sweat it..youre normally way to level headed for anyone to hold it against you, I'm sure. Everybody has a breaking point, and feels the need to say something back..just makes you human ;)

Im only new here and to be honest im impressed with what i see.If we all respected one too much this would be a lot less entertaining,and i havent come across anything too petty or vile yet.Yet.but lets face it,what were interested in is a testerone fuelled game and its full of the "alpha male"syndrome.even in cyber world here some of us dont want to lose face(cyber world=faceless).ridiculing and getting personal however is way off the mark and shouldnt be tolerated.maybe its time for the admin to get tough and stamp it out.good call JPW. Getting personal is one thing alot of people around here are good at, and have no trouble resorting to when they lack a better argument. I dont see that changing any time soon unfortunately!

Unfortunately it's not that easy. There are some people who come here just to make trouble. The reply to every post with some stupid shit designed to egg people on. And sometimes they'll harass you and harass you until you finally lose it. It happens here all the time. If it was just a matter of a few idiots posting stupid shit now and then then it wouldn't be a problem. But when it's the case of people intentionally trying to piss others off it's a lot harder to deal with. yeah i know what you mean

So what i suggest doing is if you dont agree just dont reply is not that hard. I think then maybe we could get some boxer/trainers to start chatting with people here. I think that nsb has gotten a lot better since you first made this thread, JPW. I've noticed a lot more good boxing talk and less petty squabbling...of course the might all chance again as we get close to Mayweather's clobbering of Gatti...not to mention Tszyu - Hatton :boxing: .

guys important we gotta make a difference here I have read soem of my old posts and they don't accurately represent who I am. I really don't display by boxing knowledge or knowledge on anything. It's partly because I talk better than I type, so I often result to using one liners and a lot of vulgarity, because some of the stuff said here is just rediculous...I actually startd a thread on being nicer and not fighting with anyone, but then I got called gay and had to start talking crazy again, but I agree that more about boxing should be talked about, but it would be a lot less entertaining if the insults and arguments stopped completely...
