Did anyone else almost fall asleep watching that?
I was holding my 2 month old baby while watching and this is no joke i fall asleep  . Its such a boring fight Ouma keeps on landing and Jantuah keeps on coming forward. If ouma have a decent power, Jantuah wont last 12.
Ouma put on a clinic. Very smart way to make Kofi use up all his strength early. I guess once he got to America he stopped running 20 miles a day....lmfao.
The thing that sucks about BoxingScene is that a lot of the posters don't know much about boxing. They think only a powerpuncher is a good fighter. Guys like Kassim Ouma put on boxing clinics and get overlooked and dissed. This is a young guy 23 fights into his boxing career and he looks like he's been doing this forever. He looks like he belongs with the big dogs. He's such a smart fighter. He's got a great combination of speed, stamina, accuracy and boxing ability. He controls the pace of the fight. He can take a good punch. He seems to have all the tools to take over the Super-Middleweight division. He may not have great power, but he has enough. I would love to see him fight Fernando Vargas. This would be a great fight.
How on earth can anyone be bored watching an Ouma fight? The guy threw over 1000 punches and landed over 500 do know how rare that is?
The guy puts on a clinic and lands over 500 punches and people acuse him of running and being boring.
come on now.
I was very impressed by Ouma, he made it look easy aganst a fighter I thought very highly of. True he has little power but i'd love to see Ouma fight any day of the week, he looks like a natural in there
While it is exciting that Ouma throws 100 puncher per round, he felt the guys power and made sure that he was not out of position.
Therefore, he was defensively oriented even though he was throwing 100 punches.
Ouma doesn't have the power to knock 154 pound guys out, but he makes good fights. He wins his fights through attrition like Candelo and Phillips. I could actually see him doing the same thing to Trinidad.
I had Ouma winning 11-1 in rounds and was fast-forwarding the first half of the rounds after the 6th.
When was the last time you saw an African fighter get knocked down, much less knocked out?

What an exciting division *rolls eyes*
Winky and Ouma are nothing with the big timers move up or move down for a top quality fight.
Ouma vs Winky would be a snoozefest.
Winky and ouma hahaha that would put anyone to sleep! people will probally pay to watch the ring card girls, but this winky vs ouma will never be a main event fight maybe on the undercard.
When was the last time you saw an African fighter get knocked down, much less knocked out? Very rarely does this happen, no matter how hard one of them punches. African fighters are rugged, no doubt.
Ouma fought a great fight! He did exactly what I expected him to do. The division better watch out because Ouma is taking over. He would beat Winky to a pulp.

went to this fight...yeah, it was kinda boring. Up until the 2 ko's. Met Ouma there though after the fight and he said he wants Winky. Everybody was trying to get at RJJ and DLH so I settled to meet Ouma.

ya
I was expecting, the ouma that showed up to fight philips in the 1st fight and the Jantuah that knocked our Rubio.
I was really excited about that fight and thought it would overshadow the main event. Boy was I wrong.
ya me to
either ouma has a hard chin or Rubio has a glass chin
Yea, I think Ouma has no power at 154lb. He can hang wit throwing punches and taking shots, but he should've knocked this chump out regardless of Jantuah coming in at 166lb or something.
I think since they were both african brothers they took it easy on one another. Did you see all the kissing they were doing after each round? I mean I cant get mad at that, but shyt it was boring!

I fell asleep during the 3rd round of the Gatti/Leija fight. I was really disappointed in the ouma/jantuah fight. I thought Jantuah was more of what he showed. But guess not, I never liked Ouma to begin with.
Last night was to be one of those cards that should be "must see" and it was a dud, just like every fight in 05 so far.
All of these great fighters fighting and they cant deliver....Argh!
