Im going with Eastman, I am afraid that Bernard wont make it to his 20 defense, this fight has been a long time coming and I think Eastman will dig down deep and surprise us all. Plus their is a few noteworthy factors as to why I believe this....Sure it may be superstitious to say the least but it has been proven to be true time and time again.

Call me crazy but this curse has proven true over and over again.
My second superstitious reasoning is that Bernard always trains on the sunny beach in Miami and this time around he opted to train in California instead...De La Hoya opted to train in Florida for the sturm fight and look what happened. I think this is going to cause problems for Bernard, because by training in California it may mean he is worrying to much about the business aspect of his new business venture and while Eastman (not to be taken lightly) has no stress and pressure on him all the attention is on Bernard (for once) and Eastman has had the tools to do it and I wont be surprised for an upset.
Call me crazy but im going with Eastman over a 12 round Unanimous Decision!
I pick Eastman for this one. I say Hopkins suddenly gets old in this match: his movement, reflexes, everything. You wont see Hopkins who systemetically breaks down his opponent, but who's too careful to let his hands go (like against DLH)... Eastman wins in decision
Hopkins wins a UD but gets dropped once or twice in the process. Bernard comes in head down and swings. Eastman, with his good range, technique and power, will probably catch Hopkins with a hard punch and put him down but not out. This is Hopkin~s best opponent since Roy Jones.
Eastman has a better chance than most. It'll be interesting at the very least.
If it was a 15 round fight I'd pick Eastman to steal the second half of the fight and a close decision. As it stands, unless Eastman gets on his case early, Hopkins will decision him in a losing effort that will either propel Eastman into the Sturm/Taylor/Tito mix or banish him back into high risk/low reward territory.
Having said that, Eastman is a real middlewight with a solid chin, boxing smarts and a good dig. He's every bit as wily and savvy as Hopkins, an upset wouldn't be a surprise.
The reason Tiger isn't mentioned is because he hasn't been hurt or had an absolute blow hard year thus far. He's always been up at the top...everyone is just so used to seeing him win everything so when he doesn't win a major for awhile people automatically assume he's sucking. He's still the best golfer in the world, regardless of what anyone says.
Anywho, you're correct the EA curse hasn't failed yet but I'm telling you...it only happens to finesse athletes. Look at Ray Lewis, he was on the cover this year and is having a great season...who knows if anything will happen to him next season but so far it hasn't worked on him.
Perhaps you are right, Well lets hope so anyways....Bernard deserves this more than anyone.
Perhaps I am speaking out of my ass a bit at the moment, but I was directing it towards the EA CURSE it's goofy but hey it hasnt failed yet...I brought up Roy and his last 2 fights to go along with the EA Curse so who knows...Id go out on a limb and pick eastman alone for that sole purpose.
The middleweight division sucks Eastman is in my top 5 fighters at Middleweight so anyone is as good as the next in the 160 class (besides Hopkins he is in a class of his own)
To ramble on about the EA Curse it is surprising noone mentions Tiger Woods, His game has slacked off and sucked for years.

Spinks, I don't understand what you are talking about when mentioning that Johnson and Tarver wreen't special until beating Jones. I never said they were, and I personally don't think either of them are anything special after beating him either (although Tarver has good skills and size).
I never said Roy comes into fights out of shape...I just said that Hopkins is always in great shape and Roy had no desire to lay it on the line in his last two fights.
I also said that Eastman is JUST ORDINARY ENOUGH! You and I both know he's no standout talent or extremely gifted workhorse. He's not ordinary by normal standards, but in comparison to Hop he is.
If you are specifically speaking about the EA curse, then hey...you are right...the EA curse is a hell of an extraoridnary thing. Culpepper, Faulk, Vick, Carter, Jones, even Melo now, have all been stricken by it. But all of those athletes were FINESSE athletes (anyway you look at it I'm right here). None of those guys are real tough guys or bangers...which Hop may just be the definition of. Look for any sort of curse to be broken here...the gringo is predicting it. :D

hopkins will do what he did to tito and dlh to eastman
he will start off slow...give eastman some confidence (which eastman will see has a chance to ko hopkins)...then after a few rounds hopkins will school and own eastman ,finally ko'ing
Hopkins 9-10round ko/tko
--------
Trust me eastman is not going to lose by UD
WHY?...well because eastman not stupid and if he see's he's lossing by 12th round he will go in there looking to ko hopkins and will get ko'ed in the process when he gets over confident or desperate
Since when was Glen nor Tarver anything special? They werent until KO'ing Jones...Everyone thrashed tarver and johnson prior to the jones fights.
At this point and time I do believe Hopkins is more hungry than Jones but Hopkins is all about the money now and has stated time in and time out, Also Roy has always been one to say in great shape I dont remember a time when Jones was out of shape personally.
How can you say Eastman is just an ordinary fighter when just a year ago their was ramblings that hopkins was avoiding eastman and blah blah blah....Id hate to compare it but nothing was special about Johnson either.
I had picked Jones to whip the living hell out of Tarver and Johnson on pure skill.
I realize and totally agree Hopkins has the tools to dominate Eastman and I know it may be ridiculous but the EA curse will strike in....Has it ever failed (not just in boxing in all ea games) Hopkins wants his legacy to be great sooooo bad and is dying to make that 20th victorious defense so why not take it all away from him at this glim moment....
My pick would be Bernard no doubt, but superstition has struck more than once.

Anyone who thinks this fight could even possibly look like Johnson/Jones is mistaken.
1.) Hopkins is far too hungry to set the record for defenses. He still has the desire to look impressive.
2.) Hopkins is much tougher than Jones is or was. Jones was never really beat up because of his sheer quickness and ability to first, beat his opponent to the punch and second, get out of harms way. He's too old and slow to do that now so he gets hit too much now and everyone gets to see just what his chin is made of. Bernard can take much more heat than Jones.
3.) Hopkins stays in great shape. Eastman is JUST ordinary enough so that Hopkins won't feel discomfort from Eastmans workrate and punching power. Expect Hopkins to shut down anything Eastman initially looks forward to doing.
Eastman is a tough customer but doesn't have what it takes to beat Hopkins. Eastman is no spring chicken himself. Hopkins wins by comfortable decision or (doubtful) late stoppage.
