Is Danny Williams really a Bum?

he's not exactly a bum. i think he got lucky in the tyson fight. but good for him for hitting the jackpot before he retires!

danny williams only noticable point is that he beat a very hurt and crippled tyson who would of beat him in the second round

I give Danny Williams a good chance to win this fight. Who on earth would have thought he would beat Tyson the way he did. Some can argue that Tyson hurt his knee but we all know he has been past his best for along time now. Vitali is good in the heavyweight division but he is not unbeatable and i know we will see him exposed very soon. I say if the fight goes beyond 5 rounds then Danny is in with a good chance because if Vitali hasn't hurt him by then Danny will be flowing with supreme confidence. Eyeh8you If your opinions aren't solely boxing then keep them to yourself please because quite frankly it's offensive. I think it remains to be seen, after his fight with Vitali we will know.

Vitali's fought lots of fighters who had faster hands than him, and that didn't stop him from knocking them out. I dont' see Danny's power as being too good or overwhelming, I really think that if VItali fights the way he did against Johnson, then it should be a very early knockout win for him. VK will probably win it but if the fight goes a certain way then Williams has a chance. There's been plenty of much bigger upsets than this would be.

Neuraxis - the pic you posted of Danny getting hit - I don't recognise the opponent, who was it? To be fair, re: stamina, I've only seen three Vit fights - his last three. Against LL and Sanders he was blowing hard. It was Sinan Sam.

If danny could come in so strong he can get to Vitali and take his confidence, get him thinking " Wait a minute, this guy is supposed to be a joke and now i'm having trouble getting rid of him," he can pull off an upset

danny got all the tools, but he needs the self belief. he proved in the tyson fight that he got a chin, after taking them bombs. he could upset vitali if he is in the right mindset

If VK doesn't take him seriously HE WILL LOSE (even though ill cheer for Vitali no matter what) Williams beat Tyson and he beat a focused Tyson (injury or no injury) A Tyson who went at him hard and didn't fade even after the injury (check rounds 2 and 3 again) Williams deserves this shot to say he is a bum is wrong he beat a legit heavy (Tyson lost to the heavy champ and beat Ettiene vicously and Cliff was a good heavy at the time top 20 perhaps) Williams is not close to a bum a past loss is nothing just look at Vitali, Lewis, Vlad, Rahman, and anybody else does that make them weak champs? perhaps but they all rebounded and succeeded and we didn't call them bums after they did so (yea even vlad, took down TOS after a KD which was something no one would expect no matter how bad he looked) So in my mind Williams deserves the shot, is not a bum, but IT IS VITALI'S to lose at this point I mainly agree, but Vit comes prepared he has good training ethic.

i think williams is really good. but not better than vitali. im not saying williams is going to storm through the heavies, but he is a good fighter that is exciting. i don't think he is a bum. his chin might be questionable but he took tyson's punches. we will find out in december!!

Williams is a chump. VK will dispose of his ass in 3 rds. I'd bet on it.
