What can be done about all the bad decisions in boxing? Why aren't many bad decisions overturned when it is clearly obvious who won the fight? Also why are all the judges are like 65+ yrs old and all seem to where glasses?
I know one of the judges personally and I respect his boxing knowledge but for him to have it 114-111 for Ruiz is crazy. With two knockdowns and a point deduction he only gave golota 3 roudns. That is crazy. I cant wait to ask him what he was watching or if don king has anything to do with this.
AM I Blind? or they dont know how to count? Go here http://www.fightnews.com/755.htm and Count after right part!!!!! i should be 109-111, 108-112, 109-111 !!!!!!! PEOPLE WHATs GOING ON???
on round 2 there was 10 to 1 to Andrew, but after 4 rounds there was **********!!!!!!!!a mistake on this scane of scorecard!!!!
Hellou All!! This is my first post on forum. Im from Poland and I'm shocked what happened last saterday. I think that was one reason why Golota losses his fight. The reason is "couse hi is POLE!!" If he had fight as American and do not allude that he's Pole he would be a champ a long time ago! In America there is no chance for Pole to win title. In USA Poles are treated as garbage, We went to Iraq and got nothing! And that story that one of bodyguards throwns polish flag on ground and begin treading, I have thought shame, that Poles combat on tribunes but that has become not strange thing after that I heard about the incident. Im “zajebiście wkurwiony” (it does not have such word in your language to translate it , because our language is richest) Thanks to All Americans who agree that it has been duped with the score.
Other pole fights in USA Michalczewski (only victories till then) and he doesn’t won on points despite he was better, shit… never fight at USA or will it be fair play or not????
i gave Golota 4 rounds but that 2nd KD was suspect. ruiz was clearly winning every round and should have never lost a point, either or they should have also taken a point away from golota a few times. and i still beleive close rounds go to the champ. if you want to be champ you have to come and take it. thats why he didn't win against byrd.
Man I hope your joking, Ruiz did nothing but jab>clinch the first 5-6 rounds then started to throw combos=jab, hook, hook, cross>clinch, rabbitpunch, rabbitpunch. And as far as the fouls called IMO Ruiz's plan was to make Golota mad by holding and hitting to the back of the head in hopes that he would retaliate and be DQ'ed. Which btw I am shocked Golota didn't snap on him. Ruiz seemed to think that the refs job is to let him get away with whatever he wants and at the same time take points away from his opponent for the same damn thing. His constant complaining on Sat. probably influenced Newman to not take pts. away from Golota, not to mention that little troll trainer Stone.Don't get me wrong Golota fought terrible sat. but how anyone can consider what he was doing "landing the cleaner more effective punches thru the first 8-9 rds. is beyond me.Since Don King seems to be hellbent on destroying hw boxing heres an idea for the next ppv main event guaranteed to collapse the division John "the cure for insomnia" Ruiz VS. Henry Akinwande(sp?)They could give it a neat catch phrase like enough hugs to solve world peace!
u really need to take that sig off with Johnson beating Tarver, Tarver will KO Johnson in 7 rounds. oh yeah, it was not robbery just a good decision
ah hahahha ;)
I would argue that it was a bad decision, but i'm just not that big a fan of Golotas to put up that argument.
The Byrd-McCline decision was debatable but Ruiz-Golota was a robbery.Looking at the expression on Golotas face when the decision was read by Michael Buffer said it all.
NOTe:Randy Neumann is the same referee that reffed the controversal DRAW decision fight beaten Byrd-Golota earlier this year.

They should have let Golota punch Ruiz during hugging. Ruiz was disgusting.
How can you say Ruiz was "clearly winning every round ?" Have I missed something?
all in all..wasnt it true that it wasnt a bad fight or something..or atleast better then all of ruiz's other fights
hbo team (i herd) had golata up by only on point 112-113
I had it the other way around 114-111 for Golota, and I thought that I was being conservative...by awarding some hugging rounds to Ruiz.
I totally agree!!! When they said 114-111 Everyone at my house was starting to cheer cause Ruiz having 114-111 was impossible!!! Then they said still champ and everyone here threw up and shit on the floor!!! What the fuck???

There was no way that Golota won only 3 rounds. 114-111 Ruiz is a joke.

The decision was awefull. The judges were all Latinos and they were biased in favor of their Hugger.
I hate to say this but this has to be the only reason for this terrible decision!!! I think this time it is sad but true!!!

i didn't see any bad decision's tonight, what r u talking about?
Well you must be fucking blind then or being sarcastic!!! You mean to tell me that you agree that Golota only won 3 rounds on 2 of the judges scorecards even though he knocked Ruiz down twice and Ruiz got a point deducted??? 114-111 for Ruiz is an impossible score!!! Something has to be done about this bullshit!!! Even if you think Ruiz won the fight, That score is literally impossible!!!
I thought that Ruiz W12 Golota was a bad decision. Ruiz should not be awarded rounds for hugging.
Exactly...only it should read Ruiz H12 Golota. The scorecards seemed weird...didn't someone have it 114-111 for Ruiz? WTF...
