Gatti vs. Hatton who wins?

I agree, Hatton haters really annoy me!! Mainly because most Hatton haters havent even seen Hatton fight and secondly because they never research facts before opening there big gobs. Its cool that people voice there opinions but its not cool when people show hate for no good reason. i second that opinion all the way :)

I think the fact Hatton fights full pace for 3mins every round may be a little too much for Gatti, Gatti has been known to get tired in the later rounds. I'm 100% certain Hatton is better than Micky Ward(even though i like Ward) so i'm thinking Hatton should win by KO but i'd never write Gatti off because he has the power cause problems.

tough one to call, however i reckon that gatti's actual boxing ability has been flattered by ward and dorin and deep down he is still the fighter that lost to ivan robinson and angel manfredy. Hatton is real hungry and i'm not sure that gatti will be from this point on. hatton in 6

IMO Hatton wins within 8, his power+workrate would be too much for Gatti

Cotto has beaten N'Dou and Pinto...two very tough, game 140 fighters. I agree they are tough but neither of them are top 10 and you couldnt call them world class. For a divison with so much talent there isnt many good names on peoples records. i hope this will change soon, I hate watching the heavys but at least the top guys fight each other!!

Take your US blinkers for a minute so i can have a decent conversation with you. I dont care if Hatton fights in the UK, US or Anywere else!! But I cant think of a fighter other than Tszyu thats worth the Travel. I'd love to see Hatton go to the US and fight but against who?Gatti refused to fight, Harris refused to fight, Sharmba refused to fight! the list goes on!! The only people i think that would get in a ring with Hatton are Tszyu and Cotto. Hopefuly we can see Tszyu fight Hatton next and Cotto in the future. Can you name any decent wins on the record of any of the top 5 fighters you mention? except Tszyu because i know he's a class act. Bring the motherfucka to the states and put him in the ring with a top 5 140 pounder and when he wins he gets my respect......until then he's nothing to me but a pampered little Brit fighter that hasn't taken the leap to the upper level yet. The kid can bang obviously, I saw the clips you showed people....Tackie 2nd tier, Phillips 2nd tier, other two are 3rd tier fighters. The big fights happen here and the big fighters are here. Put him at MSG against Gatti with everyone booing his ass and let him get stung with a right harder than he's ever felt and let him land a punch that has crumbled all his other competition and let's see how he reacts. He's actually fought several times all over England, 3 times in the US and once in Germany according to Boxing Rec. Still don't see how that makes him lucky. Regardless of what anyone thinks of these guys, this would be a great fight. I would love to see this happen.....it won't of course, Showtime vs HBO. I would have to go with Gatti, just because he has stepped up and done this before, he can handle the top guys. Maybe not beat them all, but give all of them a good run. Hatton has yet to prove that.

Until Hatton fights someone decent (meaning known by the majority of the boxing public) and fights outside the UK.....I'm not giving him a chance against any of the top 140 pounders. Hatton fans can say what you want, but he hasn't beaten any noteworthy opponents. Make your case against me with all these other British fighters that only the British know or care about. Put him in with Gatti, Harris, PBF, Cotto, Mitchell, Tszyu, etc....I think he loses. He hasn't even fought second tier guys like Leija or Chop Chop. Gimme a break.....I may be wrong and he may end up being a fantastic champ....but I gotta see some more. I'm a little sick of this!! THE LAST TIME I LOOKED THE RINGS IN AMERICA WERE EXACTLY THE SAME AS IN THE UK!! I haven't seen enough of Hatton yet. He has gotten lucky and really hasn't stepped it up enough. i think gatti will test his chin and mid section andcuz of hattons pass fights...hatton will be ko'ed cuz i dont think he has faced power like gatti's
