Why should it be racist to ask about the best white fighters? Is it sexist to ask about best male fighters?

Mexico is a country. Mexicans come from Mexico. White refers to a race, not a country of origin. Good point. I didn't think of it that way. Still, i don't find the post offensive. Perhaps because i'm not white.

There was a "greatest mexican fighter of all-time" thread earlier and there weren't any complaints. How come this thread is offensive? I'm not attacking you; simply trying to find some common ground. However, i will say that those who think white fighters can't compete with other races shouldn't make generalizations. Mexican is an ethnicity, not a race. There are tons of white Mexicans in Mexico. The majority of Mexico's population are "Mestizos", which is, Indian mixed with White European blood. Of course there are full blooded whites and full blooded indians that were born and raised in Mexico.

I find this thread offensive.

For me, it could have been, the guy they called "The Great White Hope" Gerry Cooney and Tommy Morrison. But Cooney turned out to be just that - hope. and Morrison got HIV positive.

Ken Buchanan 10. Joey Maxim Rocky Graziano was an exciting slugger with a huge right hand, but he didn't do much aside from beating an old Zale once. Billy Conn was at the end of his career in 1944.
