Lalia Ali ducking Lucia Rijker

I read an interview with ALi regarding the fight with Wolfe and she said something like shes not a big enuf name yet and bla bla bla, typical mess to say when you don't want to fight somebody. Wolfe is too strong and too ghetto to lose to Ali. She'd be by far the most gangsta person Ali has ever fought. I agree with you on that; Wolf is widely known as far as women boxers go...so I dont think name recognition has anything to do with it. Ann would be a real tough fight for Laila and she knows it! :D

Well, I would agree except that last I heard, they were negotiating to fight. Something could have changed, but I'm sure that Laila and Ann Wolfe were trying to get together as of...not too long ago. I don't remember the date. Laila was supposed to have a contract with Wolf ( a fight I really want to see) but from what I hear and read she keeps breaking that particular contract. I like Ali and think she has the skills and talent to go far, but she needs to face Wolf before some of us lose what respect for her we have

Rijker is a damn good fighter. Used to watch her back in the day when she was kicking everyone's butt in Kick-boxing. I've read that Ali doesn't want to fight her cause of the size difference.

Wow. This is incredible. I cannot believe that not one person picked Ali. While here I am, number 1. This is insane. Ali has been 168 and up for all of her career, Rijker has been 140. And this isn't a case of a woefully untalented fighter versus the pound for pound best. This is a pair of talented women, one of whom has AVOIDED every serious test, and one who can't find one near her weight. Sure, Rijker is clearly more gifted physically, but she has never met anyone approaching her level or had to work through adversity. Rijker disappeared before the Martin fight could be made, and Laila had to delve down twenty pounds to the south to find a name. Laila would be insane if she took this fight. She's already beaten an established lighter weight fighter in Chirsty Martin. Now she has to aim for the only reasonable challenge, namely Ann Wolfe. Now that would be a pick em fight. You people give too much credit to Rijker, who, I repeat, has never been tested.

I'd STILL like to give Laila a standing eight...if you know what I mean! :cool:

women boxing is a waiste of time. there only 3 or 4 real fighters and they never face. plus i dont enjoy watching women getting beat up and takin bodyshots. but they do what they want to do , i just cant watch it. rijker destroys ali BTW , rijker is a real boxer , ali is a fat bitch makin money on her name. when she acts like her father , it s just ridiculous

Lalia Ali refuses to come down and give Lucia a fight even though she's getting the lion share of the contract.... People who do you think could win this fight if it ever happen Lucia Rijker or Lalia Ali.... My prediction is.....: Lucia Rijker hands down... Who isn't Lalia ducking? Rijker is and was 10x more talented
