Salvador Sanchez v.....

All you really can do is look at tapes and compare, but judging by that, I think Salvador was simply better than Taylor and JCC.

C'mon guys ! Meldrick Taylor was 140 lbs ! Not only was Taylor much bigger than Sanchez (or anyone Sanchez fought)...he'd be the fastest mofo Sal EVER could get in the ring with. Sanchez would get S-M-O-K-E-D by Taylor at 140....& by Chavez at 135 & above. You guys are over-romanticizing him because of his untimely death. No one is over romanticizing him he was an all time great becuase of all the great fighters he beat. A fight with Taylor at 140 is out of the question, but Chavez at 130, Arguello at 126 are fair. Sanchez was better than both of those guys plain and simple.

He'll beat all of the above mentioned. He was just plain better. Very fluid offense, alot like SRR.

as a kid watching sanchez was something to watch during those times i thought he was invicible and unbeatble... p4p he is better than most if not all the guys mentioned above, he is one one of my favorite fighters of all time....

Salvador was awesome. It's hard to say how he would do against the guys mentioned, especially Arguello cause of the size difference.. that's more of a pfp question... IMO he was better than the guys listed above

What's up with all of these Sanchez threads all of a sudden. I thought he was 22...ah well 22/23 same diff. I agree except I think Arguello KO's him at anything above 126.
