People love crazy shit talking James Toney, or Ali. People love crazy children-eating Mike Tyson or Sonny Listons. People love boxers who arn't that good but go to war and win any way, Evander Holyfield and Arturo Gatti. Klitcho is like Lewis, he is the biggest and the best most technically sound heavyweight. He is good boxing. He isn't a rediculous personality that you can grab on to. I think the only people who love him right now are Ukranians. He also shares an unfortunate resemblance to the Russian from Rocky 4. Its sad but its true. im sure peopel will love him once he beats king out of the heavyweight divsion

Maybe, but he's 18-0 and his best oppenent is Julius Francis. Its time to step it up. Also the fact that a guy who is 4-6-2 KD'd him is not a good sign. Greenburg has absolutely no chance of being a dominant force in the heavyweight division. I've seen a handful of his fights and he's nothing special.

I'm not sure what gets canceled after that? p/s Butler is a Ham and Egger How so? It's kind of hard to a Gold Gloves Champion and be a "Ham and Egger."

I know some people are talking about Samuel Peter. I mean that guy is a tank. But, i'm curious to see how he'll do against someone with some real skill.

Since a lot of people seem to be completely dissatisfied with the state of today's heavyweight division, it only makes sense that we keep an eye out for the next dominant heavyweight. It's probably pretty obvious that the next dominant heavyweight is probably going to be pretty young and thus we are not going to talk about the current title holders and top contenders. Who knows, maybe some well known younger fighter or older fighter dominates the division for a while. Either way that's not the point of this thread. The point of this thread is name fairly unknown fighters who you think can become dominant heavyweights with time. I think that Rafael Butler may have what it takes to become a dominant heavyweight. He is 6'6'' and he usually weighs in at the mid to high 250s. He has a lot of power and he seemed to move pretty good for someone of that size as well. A few months ago I saw Rafael Butler fight against 5-1 Victor Ortiz. Butler dominated the short lived fight and TKO'd Ortiz 1:51 into the fight. Butler is 5-0 with 5 KOs. He is 20 years old, and he was the 2004 National Golden Gloves Champion. He has won his last 3 fights in 30, 57, 36 seconds. Who knows if he can continue to dominate like this, but if he can come anywhere even close, he should have a very promising future. :D Its just that there aren't that many prospects to look out for :mad: the old men are going to rule for the next couple of years :) i've seen some great amatuer hw prospects at the nationals this year, but the best guys are waiting for 2008 so they get a shot at Olympic gold before turning pro, so that means the old guys are in charge for the next couple years
