Damn! Missed the fight. Was it a good slug fest? Damn! I know I made a bet with someone and I don't remember who it was. Who ever it was please let me know so I caqn honor the bet. I said I would donate all my cash to you if Tito won.
Anyone have photos of the fight??
*rolleyes*
Tito will always look good when he has a guy stand in front of him and come at him.
Tito cant fight guys that move. He wasn't even competative in his fights with Hopkins and DLH.
Tito cannot deal with guy who can move
and he wont be if they ever fight again.
I agree. Styles makes fights.
But I pick Trinidad by TKO this time against de la Hoya (if he opts to fight & trade punches - be a macho man). Otherwise, by a close decision win again.
I Hear tito is back!! all the time, yea he is back but he will never beat hopkins at any waieght. so tito better fight oscar whinky or a rematch with mayorga would be good also, i dont think he wants to fight hopkins again.
i like de la hoya is this fight, ovously tito cannot fight fighters who box well against him, de la hoya set the blue print in the first fight on how to beat trinidad witch in my opinion did win the fight but didnt finish like a champ, hopkins took the same blue print as oscar into his fight with tito and dominated tito the way oscar did in the first 9 rounds then knocked tito out. This is the fight oscar wants more than anything, both are not natural middlewaights so dlh in my opinion would win UD
tito fought like he always fought mayo was standing right in front of him no shit hes gonna land all those punches mayo wasnt even covering up. dlh is a superior boxer and he does have a punch he will out class tito and the second time around he wont let the same mistake happen by running dlh 11th round tko
DLH TKO?? Dude it's damn obvious that you are a Mexican.

The thread starter gave 160 as given. Oscar hasn't shown anything worth anything at that weight, whether entering the ring at 150-odd or anything near 160. Trinidad appears to have just done something. When shown nothing vs. something, most sane thinking people choose something, I presume....
Tito KO.
DLH has always lacked some self confidence but now its downright sad. Add to it the fact some bum from the street trains him, and his old natural ability is nearly gone.. i see DLH quiting with a shot as an excuse.
WHY do they have to fight at 160
and oscar will fuck him up u fuckin idiots!!
They have to fight at 160 because Tito has already said he isn't fighting below middleweight. Oscar didn't fuck him up in the first fight and it's really unlikely he will do it at 160. Oscar beats Tito from 154 down but at 160 Tito will beat Oscar.

There's some sheer maturity there for you! The articulation, the witty retorts, you're an obviously an extremely sophisticated individual Greatest!!!
LOL
Wow - talk about jumping to conclusions after Tito has a fight with a guy who was tailored made for him. Mayorga has Gatti like defense - he comes forward, throws wildly and has iron in his chin. When you do that against a guy with power and skills, like Tito, and are at a weight you've never fought at (showing a loss of power and stamina) you're simply not going to win, (much like how Gatti was destroyed by De la hoya when he moved up).
Based on this fight, people think all of a sudden that Tito can "destroy" De La Hoya - an all time great with incredibly quick hands, solid power and great boxing skills. De la Hoya dominated Trinidad in 8 rounds of their first fight. Trinidad doesn't have a great chin, and he can be hit, especially by a guy with a great jab like De la Hoya. I also love how everyone thinks De la Hoya can't fight at 160 because of his performances against two of the top guys in the division, not to mention one of the best middleweights in history in Hopkins. It's not like Trinidad fared much better against Hopkins - I'd say De la Hoya arguably won more rounds against Hopkins than trinidad did.
I'm not a huge De la Hoya fan, but come on - let's keep this in perspective - Tito's win over Mayorga was impressive, but it in no way suggests that Tito can suddenly destroy the likes of De la Hoya or present a much greater challenge to Hopkins than he did the first fight. It would at least be a strongly competitive bout - no way it would be as easy as against Mayorga.

EXACTLY, I agree with you
It would only be a 10 round fight...I'll take DelaHollywood.
Why would it only be a 10 round fight?
DLH had a speed advantage at 160, and more power to keep Tito at bay. Tito hasn't lost any power at 160 and he looks just as comfortable. DLH doesn't have the speed or the power at 160 to do what he did in their first fight. I think Tito would keep walking him down until DLH started getting hit in the later rounds.
Tito by TKO in the late rounds, or a lopsided decision with DLH going down at least once.
