IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud (24-0, 19KOs) does not believe that former WBC beltholder Jean Pascal (26-2-1, 16KOs) suffered a hand injury, which canceled their Showtime televised main event on August 11th at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

The two sides were unable to reschedule the fight, for now, because there were no available dates that worked for both Showtime and the venue - and the IBF has placed a lot of pressure on Cloud to meet his obligation of a mandatory defense against Karo Murat. Both Cloud and Pascal are expected to to return in separate fights before the end of the year.

"I was upset by the cancellation because we knew Pascal wasn't injured. He went to a training camp up in New York and the people at the camp said he was training and his hand wasn't hurt. He left that camp and went down to Miami and he was buying out the bar, partying and sh*t like that. He just ain't focused. He's not trying to be a fighter right now, so it was in his best interest not to face me right now," Cloud told BoxingScene.com.
