Former champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (46-1-1, 32KOs) believes that he would knock Sergio Martinez (50-2-2, 28KOs) out in a rematch. Martinez won a twelve round decision over Chavez to capture the WBC middleweight crown on September 15 in Las Vegas.

Martinez dominated the fight, but Chavez knocked him down in the twelfth round and nearly pulled off a miracle knockout victory.

"I would knock him out in the rematch," Chavez stated when predicting the outcome of a second meeting.

A few days after their fight, it was revealed the Mexican boxer tested positive for marijuana. He faces a suspension and a rematch would probably happen in mid-2013 at the earliest. Martinez is ready to do another fight.

Responding to Chavez's rematch prediction, Martinez said -"[Chavez better] get ready to lose again."
