York Hall, London - In a lightweight contest, rising contender Caroline Dubois (7-0, 5 KOs) picked up a dominating eight round decision over Yanina del Carmen Lescano (13-3, 4 KOs).

The referee's card was the sole score, with a tally of 80-71 for Dubois.

Entering the fight, Lescano had won three in a row since losing a close split decision to Olympic gold medalist Estelle Mossely.

The bigger punches of Dubois were pushing Lescano back in the first round. Lescano was willing to exchange punches at close range, but it was Dubois who was landing the more accurate punches. In the second, Lescano came out happy to engage with Dubois. It was a close round, with Dubois connecting with the sharper punches.

The third and fourth saw more of the same, competitive action with Dubois landing the much better punches. During the fifth round, Dubois began to target the body and landed a hook to the head that dropped Lescano against the ropes. Lescano beat the count and elected to trade with Dubois, who was pressing forward and looking to finish her off. Dubois continued to connect with heavy blows to the head and body.

Lescano seemed to be recovered as she entered the sixth. The pace had slowed down a bit. Dubois was still in full control and was chipping away with the harder shots. In the seventh, Dubois was going back to the body to set up head shots. Lescano seemed to be mentally and physically breaking down from the incoming onslaught.

The eighth and final round saw the two come and exchange punches in the center of the ring. Dubois began to unload with hard shots to the head and body, which pushed Lescano back to the ropes. Dubois controlled the action until the final bell.

In a rematch, cruiserweight prospect Viddal Riley (9-0, 6 KOs) picked up a fourth round stoppage of Anees Taj (7-4). Riley had also picked up a four round stoppage over Taj in February.

During the fourth, Riley scored a heavy knockdown when he pressed Taj against the ropes and connected with a series of hard punches. Once the round was restarted, Riley followed up with more blows to force the stoppage win as Taj's corner threw in the towel.

Middleweight prospect Aaron McKenna (17-0, 8 KOs) had a tough test, with a ten round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Uisma Lima (10-1, 8 KOs). The scores were 98-92, 98-93 and 100-91.

McKenna, who suffered swelling around both eyes, was made to work very hard by Lima, who seemed to get hurt in more than one round but continued to fire back when he found himself in trouble.
