British cruiserweight titleholder Viddal Riley has made it clear who he wants to face next.
The Tottenham man is now 13-0 (7 KOs) and has recently announced a promotional change having left Boxxer to join forces with Misfits Pro. The move came after Riley boxed just once last year, defeating former Olympian Cheavon Clarke over 12 rounds in April.
He took to social media on Tuesday to call out Frank Warren’s unbeaten cruiserweight contender Aloys Junior.
The Ben Davison-trained Aloys, 11-1 (9 KOs) was pushed all the way by former world title challenger Ellis Zorro in Bournemouth in July.
The heavy-handed Londoner lost his debut, but was on a tear until running into Zorro.
Riley – ranked in the top 15 by three of the sanctioning bodies – posted a ‘Missing Person!’ poster on X with a picture of Aloys on it.
“Last seen: Getting outboxed by Zorro,” read the graphic. “He then went missing. Reward offered by British champion Viddal ‘The Rillist’ Riley for information on the whereabouts of this con man.’”
Riley, 28, stepped up convincingly against Clarke last year.
Because Riley has such a vast social media following, many doubted his boxing credentials at a high level, even though he always maintained he was taking it seriously and that he could go far after a stellar amateur career.
