A fight between boxing superstars Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (44-1-1, 31KOs) and Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32KOs) is bound to happen, according to Canelo's manager/trainer Jose "Chepo" Reynoso. Canelo will return in the month of November, while Cotto is going to see action in December. If all goes well, their mutual promoters have expressed interest in having them face each other on May 2, 2015.
Reynoso rules out a fight with Cotto in 2014, and says the mouth watering showdown is surely going to happen at some point down the line.
"Everyone wants to see Canelo go against Cotto, but if it doesn't happen his career will still continue forward. It will definitely not happen this year, but sooner or later we will see their faces meet," Reynoso said.
