Zab Judah (42-8, 29KOs) says Paulie Malignaggi (32-5, 7KOs) will not be able to hold him off, due to a lack of power, when they collide in a battle of former two-division champions on December 7th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The fight is a tough crossroads bout where the winner will move forward to a potential title fight at welterweight. Judah expects to put pressure on Malignaggi with his edge in strength and power.
"[The edge for me over Paulie] is hand speed, power. Paulie has fast hands too and he throws a lot of punches, but he doesn't have anything to hold anybody back with. He has nothing to hold me off. It's been proven from the past that if you don't have nothing to hold Zab Judah back then he's going to come and he could punch. He jabs a lot. I think that night we might break the record for the most jabs because Paulie is a good jabber and I'm 'Zab the Jab.' He's going to come in with the good basics. If [Malignaggi] fought as good as he talks, then he would be pound-for-pound the greatest, but obviously that's not the situation," Judah said.
