WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is growing tired of David Haye's recent challenges to older brother and WBC champion Vitali Klitschko. Wladimir doesn't understand why Haye holds himself in such high regard as a possible Klitschko opponent. The unified champion says the British boxer is nothing but talk.
"David Haye always has a lot to say. I honestly do not know why he came to the conclusion that we need him as an opponent. Anyone can watch my fight with David and see him acting as a coward for twelve rounds....running away from me. In the end, Haye blamed his defeat on his little toe. Haye talks a lot. He also resort to lies, when he thinks it will do him good, but he is only able to make these big statements. Before our fight [he made these statements] - and then he also repeatedly lied."
Wladimir does say that Vitali is his own man and the final decision on whether or not Haye will fight Vitali - will come from Vitali.
"The decision will be determined by Vitali. But right now he has other plans, with the October 28th elections. Let's see what will happen after that. This is something for Vitali to solve, but I'd like to see such boxers as Haye receive less attention. Because he was in a fight with me and did nothing? He did not even know whether or not he wanted to continue his boxing career. He retired, then returned. What does he want?," Wladimir said.
