Junior Witter tells Newsquest that he is putting himself through an exhausting training camp in preparation for his clash with DeMarcus Corley for the vacant WBC junior welterweight title, which takes place on September 15 in London. Dom-inic Ingle, the trainer of Witter, is making the fighter go through three gym sessions per day.

"Instead of feeling ex-hausted some of the time, I feel exhausted all the time. Dominic is working me very, very hard. Things have changed a lot from the way I normally prepare for fights. He's got me working three times every day and will often throw in an extra circuit just to keep me happy," Witter said.

Make no mistake, Witter is not happy with the training program, but knows that his hard work will lead him to victory. Witter has been sparring with British light-middleweight champion Jamie Moore to better prepare himself.

"I don't enjoy it but he does - and he says it will make a difference. But this is what I need and I just let him get on with it and take care of the training. Dom has helped focus me for definite. He won't let me cut any corners - even if I wanted to."

Witter, who has been sparring with British light-middle champion Jamie Moore, has total faith in the Ingle camp as he waits impatiently for his chance to crack boxing's big time.

"Everything is buzzing at the moment. It's the adrenaline, the press, the extra sessions, it's all coming together. I've always dreamed of fighting for the world title and all of a sudden it's here. Even though we've been training for a while now, I still can't believe this is just round the corner," Witter said.
