It feels like a foregone conclusion that unbeaten Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez will win his third divisional title when he takes on WBA bantamweight beltholder Antonio Vargas on Saturday.

While Florida’s Vargas, 19-1-1 (11 KOs), is wearing the strap now and has the pedigree of being a former U.S. Olympic boxer, he’s nearly a 14-to-1 betting underdog and has struggled in his past two bouts versus competition far inferior to Rodriguez, 23-0 (16 KOs).
