Veteran promoter Frank Warren has a lot at stake on Saturday night given that he represents WBO 154-pound titlist, Liam Smith (23-0-1, 13KOs), who squares off against Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (47-1-1, 33KOs) this weekend at AT&T Stadium near Dallas.

But Warren says of Saunders - "His preference is to fight Golovkin and I hope that after Saturday that 'Canelo's out the picture and he'd be looking for a rematch with my guy."

Smith is the decided underdog versus the Mexican star.

"For him to come here with this belt, with the standing and the stock that 'Canelo' has in the world of boxing it would be a huge achievement,"said Warren."It would be one of the biggest upsets that a British boxer has pulled off in the States. Having said that, he's no slouch and you look at his record he's got no big names on there but he's a very competent an able boxer. He's a very confident boxers, as well," Warren said.

"If he wins the fight, he'd be huge - he'd be the biggest thing in British boxing."
