IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is expecting his next fight to be a rematch with Anthony Joshua.

According to Alexander Krassyuk, who promotes Usyk, the rematch will indeed take place in "February or March" of next year.

Joshua, now a former two-time heavyweight champion, is exercising his right to an immediate rematch.

"The rematch was written in our contract," Krassyuk said on Tuesday at a press conference in Ukraine.

"When we were talking to Oleksandr about the rematch, he wasn't upset. On the contrary, he was happy. He was glad and said: 'Oh, cool! I will beat up Anthony twice!'

"The approximate time that Eddie Hearn announced at the press conference after the fight, February-March, is indeed true."

Usyk's desire is to have their second meeting take place at the Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev.

That likely won't happen, as Joshua and his handlers are looking to stage the rematch on UK soil.

Usyk will eventually pursue the one remaining piece of the undisputed puzzle - the WBC belt, which is up for grabs on October 9 when Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder meet for a third time in Las Vegas.

The unbeaten boxer, who previously became an undisputed champion at cruiserweight, will focus his mental energy on the rematch with Joshua and then target the winner of the Fury-Wilder trilogy.

"We can talk about the unification of all the belts only after Fury will have a boxing match again Wilder, and they determine the champion, and after our rematch with Anthony," Usyk said.

"Of course, I would like very much to have this unification match."
