Underdog Brewer Beats Forbes, Contender Champ!

Sometimes the sun shines on the underdog, journeyman Grady Brewer (22-11, 12 KOs) completed defeating former world champion Steve Forbes (32-4, 9 KOs) over ten rounds by split decision to claim the season two Contender Championship, in front of a packed crowd at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

An underdog in every bout of the season, Brewer beat Forbes, a heavy favorite in some circles to claim the $500,000 grand prize.
