Here’s what’s on the schedule for boxing fans this week, including a match between aspiring junior welterweight contenders and a women’s strawweight world title bout.

Thursday, September 25: Koen Mazoudier vs. Jorge Kapeen (Triller TV)

This show, emanating from Australia, is headlined by a pair of junior middleweights.

Mazoudier, 13-4-1 (5 KOs), was stopped by Nikita Tszyu in the ninth round of their match in August 2024. He returned in April with a wide decision win over the 7-1 Dan Hill.

Kapeen, 7-4 (4 KOs), has scored two straight victories since getting shut out in May 2024 by the 4-0 Marco Romeo. One of Kapeen’s wins came over a debuting opponent, and the other was against an 0-1 foe.

Friday, September 26: Jonathan Rojas vs. Ray Rojas (ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes)

The broadcast begins at 10 p.m. Eastern Time (3 a.m. BST).

Jonathan Rojas, 13-4-1 (3 KOs), is a 23-year-old featherweight from Mexico. He’s won two straight since dropping a split decision last November to Jorge Mata Cuellar (who recently dropped a wide decision to Mark Magsayo).

Ray Rojas, 15-1 (11 KOs), is on a four-fight winning streak since his lone defeat, a seventh-round TKO in February 2023 against the 10-0 Kevin Barron Crespo.

Saturday, September 27: Ben Crocker vs. Sean McComb (DAZN)

The broadcast begins at 2 p.m. Eastern Time (7 p.m. BST).

Crocker and McComb are a pair of unranked junior welterweights who are hoping to gain a foothold in their stacked division. They will face off in the main event at Park Community Arena, also known as Canon Medical Arena, in Sheffield, England.

Crocker, 14-0-1 (2 KOs), is a 31-year-old from Swansea, Wales. His past three outings saw him take a close points win over the 15-0-2 Stelios Papadopoulos, narrowly edge Papadopoulos again in their rematch, and fight to a draw in April with the 10-0 Tiernan Bradley.

McComb, 19-2 (5 KOs), feels as if he was wronged in his split decision loss to Arnold Barboza in April 2024. The 33-year-old from Belfast, Northern Ireland, didn’t return for 14 months, winning a six-round shutout this past June against the 13-11-1 Alexis Nahuel Torres. McComb believes a victory over Crocker will get him closer to a shot at IBF titleholder Richardson Hitchins.

The undercard includes a junior featherweight bout between Tysie Gallagher, 9-2 (0 KOs), and Ellie Hellewell, 7-0 (1 KO).

Saturday, September 27: Najee Lopez vs. Kalvin Henderson (ProBox TV)

The broadcast begins at 6 p.m. Eastern Time (11 p.m. BST).

Lopez, 14-0 (11 KOs), is a 26-year-old light heavyweight from Georgia. This will be his third fight of 2025. In January, he sent the faded former fringe contender Lenin Castillo packing in the sixth round, then needed less than two rounds to dispose of the 22-2 Juan Gerardo Osuna in May.

Henderson, 19-2-1 (13 KOs), is a 35-year-old living in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He dropped a decision to the 15-0 Isaiah Steen in 2021 – Steen went on to lose to Sena Agbeko and Lester Martinez before hanging up his gloves. Henderson’s second loss came against David Morrell via fourth-round TKO in 2022. Henderson is on a four-fight winning streak and was last in the ring for a decision over the 22-22-2 Cleotis “Mookie” Pendarvis in October 2024.

In the co-feature at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, junior middleweight prospect Emiliano Moreno, 12-0 (7 KOs), will face Raul Garcia, 14-2-1 (12 KOs).

Saturday, September 27: Sol Cudos vs. Kim Clavel (DAZN)

The broadcast begins at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (1 a.m. BST).

Cudos, 10-0-2 (3 KOs), is the IBF world titleholder at 105lbs. The 28-year-old from Argentina won the vacant belt in April, taking a split decision over her compatriot Maria Sol Baumstarh.

Clavel, 21-2 (3 KOs), is a 35-year-old from Montreal, Canada, where she will be headlining in front of her hometown fans at the Theatre St-Denis.

Clavel previously held a world title at 108lbs. Her brief reign began in July 2022 with a decision over Yesenia Gomez and concluded in Clavel’s first defense via unanimous decision to Yesica Nery Plaa in January 2023. Clavel’s other defeat came when she challenged unified titleholder Evelin Nazarena Bermudez in October 2023 and lost a split decision. Clavel has gone 4-0 since and dropped down to strawweight in February, outpointing the 34-7 former titleholder Anabel Ortiz.

The co-feature will spotlight Tamm Thibeault, 3-0 (2 KOs), a middleweight who represented Canada in the Olympics in 2021 (where she made it to the quarterfinals) and 2024 (where she lost her sole bout). Thibeault turned pro last December and is coming off an appearance on the undercard of Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano III in July, a show that saw her put away the 6-0 Mary Casamassa in the fifth round.

Thibeault’s foe is Cristina Mazzotta, 1-0 (0 KOs), whose sole entry in the paid ranks was a July points win over a 7-33-2 opponent.

Several male and female prospects are scheduled for the undercard.

Saturday, September 27: Jacqueline Calvo vs. Alma Meraz Rodriguez (DAZN)

The broadcast begins at 9 p.m. Eastern Time (2 a.m. BST).

This show in Metepec, Mexico, is headlined by a junior flyweight bout between Calvo, 24-9-2 (4 KOs), and Merez Rodriguez, 10-4-1 (2 KOs).
