Kim Clavel and Sol Cudos made their Saturday night title fight official by making weight.
Clavel, who is hoping to become a two-division champion, will face the women’s IBF strawweight titleholder Sol Cudos at the Theatre St-Denis in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Clavel tipped the scales at 104.2lbs, while Cudos hit the scales at 104.0lbs.
Clavel, 21-2 (3 KOs), signed with Most Valuable Promotions last month and will now fight for the first time with the promotion as a headliner in her hometown. Clavel, 35, enters on a four-fight win streak after losing a split decision to junior flyweight Evelin Nazarena Bermudez. Clavel previously held the WBC junior flyweight title in 2023.
Cudos, 10-0-2 (3 KOs), won the vacant IBF title via a split decision against Maria Sol Baumstarh in her last fight. This will be the 28-year-old Cudos’ first defense of her title. Cudos of Moreno, Buenos Aires, Argentina, will be fighting for the first time outside of her home country.
The card will stream on DAZN.
