Featherweight Tramaine Williams remained unbeaten Friday night, winning a one-sided 10 round decision over German Meraz at the Riverside Epicenter in Austell, Georgia.

The southpaw Williams (14-0 1 NC, 5 KOs) dominated the action throughout the bout, beating the veteran Meraz to the punch. All three judges scored the bout 100-89 in favor of Williams.

Meraz, who resides in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, drops to 58-46-2, 35 KOs.

Williams fought five times in 2017, winning all those bouts decisively. The 25-year-old Williams, who resides in New Haven, Connecticut, is already ranked number 12 by the WBO.

The fight on Friday night was a stay-busy bout for Williams, who is scheduled to return to the ring on Feb. 10.

Unbeaten junior welterweight Wellington Romero stopped Kevin Womack in the fifth round.

Romero (14-0-1, 8 KOs), who is originally from the Dominican Republic and now resides in Newburgh, N.Y., broke Womack down until referee Jim Korb stopped the bout at 1:35. 

Womack falls to 8-15-4, 6 KOs.

Romero has won his last three bouts by knockout.

Junior welterweight John Bauza (8-0, 5 KOs) stopped Hamza Sempewo (14-10, 7 KOs) at 1:28 of the fifth round.

Bantamweight Manuel Flores, who is 19 years of age, won a four round unanimous decision over Derrick Pitts, Jr., who was making his pro debut.

All three judges scored the bout 40-36 in favor of Flores, who improves to 4-0, 3 KOs.

In welterweight action, 18-year-old Brandun Lee (7-0, 6 KOs) stopped Kevin Cooper (1-13, 1 KO) at 1:20 of the opening round.
